The Mavericks were confused about this call that led to an easy Warriors bucket.

  1. NBA is a bloody embarrassment! Try being a Raptors fan and dealing with the BS the only Canadian team is faced with every game..

  2. Cuban should be mad at the arena announcer. Here's why: The refs never called Mavs ball. The call was always Warriors ball. The gesture made by the ref after calling Warriors ball was to award a timeout to Dallas (he pointed towards their bench). When he did so, the Warriors players got mad and disputed it (thinking the ref was signaling it was Mavs ball). But the ref (I'm assuming) told him, "no, I'm not giving them the ball, I'm giving them a timeout". And the Warriors player calmed down. So, the call was always Warriors ball, but Mavs timeout. The arena announcer (according to Mark Cuban) announced it was Mavs ball when he saw the ref signal timeout to the Mavs bench. that's on him. And its on the entire Mavs organization for relying on that. HOWEVER, the refs should have made this abundantly clear, and should have never just handed the ball to the warriors after the TO when it was clear the Mavs didnt know it was NOt their ball.

  3. Those announcers sure make a lot of speculation. It was called GS ball, timeout Dallas. No one was confused on GS. If anything Dallas forgot what end of the court was theirs, which also makes no sense. Kidd is not a good coach. Figure it out.
It only makes sense if Dallas thought it was their ball and also erroneously thought they could advance the ball with a time out from a baseline out of bounds. Stupid all the way around. Just own it.

  4. I don't understand everyone crying, it was warriors ball, mavericks called the timeout and the warriors got the ball back? What's the problem? If the Mavs call timeout they get the ball or something? lmao

  5. Shows the issue with the huge homer culture that all teams like to have employed for their announcers, play-by-play, etc. It was a somewhat ambiguous motion by the ref but clear call. The home arena announcer confused the a Mavs team that was poorly spaced no matter what the call was.

  6. Dude I’ve grown up watching the NBA for over 15 years and that game last night was BY FAR the ABSOLUTE WORST officiating I have ever seen. Absolutely abysmal and disgraceful dude . Just shameful.

  7. Ref clearly signaled for warriors ball. And even if the mavs thought it was their ball then why don’t they have an inbounder and guy to inbound the ball into. Clearly the mavs just got confused and believed they were on defense and got the baskets mixed up. Idk how you blame that on anyone but the mavs players and coaching staff

  8. 2:05 Another awful call by the refs that went against the Warriors. JP did what he had to do, lifted his foot out in time and they STILL called a 3 sec violation. Awful, AWFUL refereeing all game long and basically all goddamn season long.

  9. Even if it was Mavs ball why wouldn't one of their players go to the ref to inbound the ball?

  10. A few things don't make sense. Even if the Mavs think it's their ball, why aren't they ready to inbound. It seems like what we have here is pretty awful communication in the Mavericks end, Ownership, Head Coach, Players, even Arena Staff. But also, a last second uncontested garbage time 3 pointer by Bullock is the only reason they list by only 2, so theoretically that shot never happens, and the protest is muted in every possible way, in my opinion. Not a Warrior fan at all, can't stand Steph.

  11. Mavericks got cheated and I’m a kings fan and the kings have been cheated a lot this year just like every year and probably will get more cheated on from now own. Something needs to change referees have way to much power

  12. From the official Sean Wright: “Initially on the floor the original signal was in fact Golden State ball as this can be seen on video. There is a second signal but that signal is for a mandatory timeout that was due to the Mavs,” said Wright.

  13. Mark you need to suck it up 😂 you lost dont matter 2 points or 20 come on with more then 10 minutes left in the game you couldn't make up 2 points sounds like you're over paying your players .

  14. Lol, the ref didn't think it strange that Noooo Dallas players were on that side of the floor 😂. Come on man, this ref needs to be investigated.

  15. Unless the ref is actually blind he can clearly see the mavs on the other side of the court. Seems like he just didnt give a fuck and wanted to screw over the mavs, probably as a little payback to luka complaining and making money signs. League should probably look into this
