The Knicks lose in Orlando.
That means the Celtics have clinched at least the 4-seed in the East and home court in the first round of the playoffs for the 6th time in the last 7 years.
Entering Thursday, their most likely opponent?
Miami 28%
Brooklyn 24%
Atlanta 16%

Getting to play Atlanta would be a blessing
Brooklyn or Atlanta are the two opponents I’m hoping we get for round 1. Anyone else scares me in some way
I am not worried about losing the round 1 matchup but life is much easier if we don’t play Miami
I think the Nets would be harder than people think. They’re long and got tons of wings to switch and throw at us. Bridges is also maybe the new Middleton because he doesn’t miss against us. Maybe I still have PTSD from the last game idk
The Heat are going to the conference finals. Better hope the Celtics don’t see them again
Bro how do we always end up playing Miami its too much
The least bit surprising news is that Miami are ramping it up for the playoffs. They might be in that 4/5 seed and face the Bucks in the second round anyways lol
Boston is getting 2 or 3 1 if they beat bucks and 76ers
I’m not scared of any of these first round matchups. If they can’t take care of the heat, they aren’t beating Philly, Bucks, Cavs, or any top 5 team in the West
Miami always worries me just because Butler is ridiculous in the playoffs
That is some VERY impressive math, to be able to determine the percentages of who we will face, given that we could end up in any of 4 spots and that 9 different teams have some legitimate shot of ending up in the play-in tournament, which should scramble the percentages even further. I’m not sure I could figure out the percentages with 1 game left in the regular season, let alone DIFFERENT numbers of games between 7 and 10 remaining for each prospective opponent.
