Well the Mavs had had the worst losses of any team in the league this year. This isn't worse on paper. It's worse that they knew they had to win it and still got beat by a under manned tanking team.

Jason Kidd is a lazy, unispiring coach. Doncic is overrweight and undisciplined. He cant even get into shape. I have lived around serbs/slovenias a long time. Very set in their ways and cutthrought. He was petty with Porzingis. Probably did not want another European taking his shine. Imagine Porzingis, Doncic and kyrie. He also had no qualms in getting rid of his best friend Bobo. Doncic is hard headed and he wont change his ways until many many negatives and public pressures comes down on him. Minimum eight years.

Our team identity is changed or changing. Only Hardy is thriving in the new environment. Josh Green is a confused shadow of his former self. Luka and Kyrie have no clue how to play together. The defense looks like they need to make some tradeoffs, but instead they've decided to just stink at every level. Kleber, Powell, and Bullock all look like they've been asked to do things way beyond their capabilities. Meanwhile, our obvious team leader, is complaining to the refs, jacking up ill-advised threes, and not hustling on D.
Bottom line: with only 8 games left, we need obvious answers, and I don't see any in sight.
I'm almost to the point where i'm numb to it.
I'm no expert in any of these and I have no idea what they need to do individually (specifics & all) to be able to turn things around in their favor, but I do know this… In every unit/organization, a team's success (or failure) starts with management. Command Responsibility. Effective leadership that needs to be visionary and strategic to further develop their outstanding team members (they need to believe they're outstanding — the reason why they took them in) into a strong, solid, cohesive, fired-up, motivated unit that's aware of how to leverage its available resources while mitigating the apparent weaknesses. It's heartbreaking to see such great talents hurting when they know deep in their core that they've got what it takes to win. Love you, Mavs. I remain. ❤❤❤

First of all Luka needs to involve Kyrie's offense from the jump, then Iwould trade all the bigs except Kleber cause they dont defend the paint. The team with No defense transitions, + dont know why we are missing open corner shots. Let's be honest. We've all been expecting to face the 1st round exit. The team has an incomplete roster with offensive guys starting to pick up defense, with no real defensive experience. Nonetheless, they have one of the best offences in the league when the shots go in. So expecting to drop from 4th seed after the trade to like 6th-8th in the end would be realistic. Having a roster with Luka, Kyrie, Wood, Hardy, Green, Mcgee and Tim/Bullock and being in the 11th spot screams "horrible coaching" to me from a mile. There's no way for a team with so much talent to lose against a team like hornets – bench edition unless they get reeeeaaally bad directions and instructions. You can call a player trash at defense when he's in the right spot, but failed to execute. It's something else to be set perfectly, but in a wrong defensive formation that has no effect on their offense. The sad reality is, the whole locker room looks up to Kidd as a hall of famer, they put in effort to do what the coach says on the floor, lose the game, take the blame (especially Luka and Kyrie) and not realize their "idol" is a shit leader in the process, but blame themselves. Shit sounds so depressing, I need a bottle of wine now..

They don't have a starting level center or power forward on the roster.The Mavs have no talent to protect the rim and rebound. You can't win against anyone if you can't stop layups and get boards.

we gave up the house for KP – we had some nice players we could use now – like Barnes, nice 2way player on good contract
We took back some bad contracts, THJ was the 1 that hurt us in the end cause we resigned him.
then we took on more bad money to get rid of KP – Bertrans
We didnt sign Brunson
We fixed center position with ghost of Javale
We gave up only 2 good starters – DFS Spencer – for Kyrie who is the worst pairing with Luka, which was obvious from the start – both of them dont play D. Playable guys on the roster like wood, Hardy also dont play no D. You can see when Frank is in that they look better, and Frank is really bad, that shows how much they miss D
If they wanted to F-up the roster on purpose they couldnt have done better/worse
