I think it will come down to home court advantage against Milwaukee. You just don't give away home court advantage to a recent championship team with the best player in the NBA. Basically just because the celtics and Tatum were lazy and didn't win a few more games they won't win a championship. Just pathetic. This Tatum comment after Nets collapse: "there are too many games to worry about a loss" The coach also said 0 concern instead of calling him out. And so they lost more crucial easy games(like Rockets) putting them just out of 1st seed reach. They don't deserve to be watched and rooted for if they lose game 7 in Milwaukee

It's very simple. Raptors went all in and got Kawhi in 2019 and won. Celtics GM Brad could have gotten Poeltl at deadline. Rob will more likely than not get injured and be out in the playoffs. So because their GM didn't want risk giving up a pick or 2 they aren't likely to even reach the finals. No risk no reward Brad. The East will be a slug fest. I truly believe this is the reason KD wanted to be traded back to the West. He couldn't handle the physicality if the Nets had to go through both Milwaukee and Boston. The East is not for the weak.

Those 14 turnovers will kill you against good teams. Denying Miles Turner in the 3rd quarter, gave them the ability to stretch the lead. Great game, but turning over the ball will cost you games.

Derrick White is the best playmaker on the team.
We don’t match up well with New York and Cleveland the 4 and 5 seed. So if think we should stay at 2 seed. We get Brooklyn then Philly . We can beat Milwaukee even without the home court advantage.
The key is Tatum. He had six turnovers. Between turnovers and horrible shooting, he will be the reason the Celtics don't win the title. He is the worst outside shooter in the NBA. If he plays like one of their many good players, the Celtics can win the title. He is not Steph or Kobe, so stop letting him play like he is.
Past two games have been Jaylens best of the year. He plays like this and we're good.

Derrick reminds me of Havlicek. Not as impactful yet he understands how to make the play that the team needs. Havlicek was a Celtic great who moved so very well without the ball, got many key rebounds, and made the play that the Celtics needed esp in the 4th qtr. Derrick is similar in how he plays. Want to see him play more in crunch time. His offense is much better this year. 🍀🍀🍀
