    People need to understand that Gonzaga was not expected to even make it out of the Round of 32. Just getting to this point was remarkable but they unfortunately keep falling short. Few needs to get more serious if he wants to win it all

    Gonzaga seems able every year to have top tier teams that can beat UCLA almost every time yet they never win the bigger games that will finally win a NCAA national championship ..

    Uconn is a problem. I dont wanna say " i dont see nobody beating them but thats exactly what im thinking. Im a Longhorn fan so of course ima always feel like we got just a good of a chance as any team left but its hard to bet against this Connecticut squad. I been watching Uconn for a long time and they win championships. They just got this pedigree even though all the coaches are different throughout the years. I would compare them to the Spurs. Anyway. Wish you got nothing but the best. We still gotta handle business against the Miami hurricanes.

    The absolute worst drubbing I've ever seen of a basketball team . . . at least at this level. Credit UConn's defense. Far worse than looking like it didn't belong on the same floor with any other team, Gonzaga looked like an awkward collection of clumsy, clubfooted kids who'd get picked last at recess for a grade school game of kickball. They defined a new low for awful. I was amazed at how inept they were. I stopped watching with over seven minutes left in the game. They were down by over 30. Their only chance to get back in the game was to shoot a bunch of threes. They threw up brick after brick. UConn appeared to be merciful – beginning to empty out the bench. But even the subs appeared far superior to anything the Zags could muster. . . . . I think Custer fared better at LIttle Big Horn.

    Until Zags join a Pwr5 Conf?

    They will NEVER be prepared to win 6 straight vs high level Competition.

    2021 NCAA Tournament?

    I gurantee the 6 straight toughest opponents Gonzaga has ever had to play in thier ENTIRE HISTORY.
    (Meaning "6 straight good teams in a row." Yes, Zags play tough Non Conf Schedule? Lol, but that's in Nov/Dec. If the NCAA Tournament was in the first week of January? Zags probably have a Chip by now.
    Those 2.5 Months playing in WCC? Doesn't prepare them for NCAA Tournaments. Actually HURTS them.)

    They had a legit squad but weren't prepared, in terms of mentality TOUGHNESS.
    Because the last 2.5 Months leading up to 2021 NCAA Tournament, (…and EVERY NCAA Tournament) the Zags played Cupcakes in thier High School of a Conference.

    So they get thru first 5gms of the 21 NCAA Tournament, then ran into BigXII Conf team that absolutely destroyed the Gonzaga Bulldogs fr the tip.

    If UCONN wins this tournament, that would 5 titles since 1999. I think you can safely say they are the best program in the last 25 years.

    They will easily win the Final Four. No more marquis teams left except Texas. FAU ? Miami ? Creighton ? San Diego St ? None of these 4 can win it all. No tradition and no history of greatness.

    I'm thankful for these highlight videos. I started following UConn almost 50 years ago (Dee Rowe era) but don't have access to watch most of their games.

    Not the UConn team that in recent memory makes a final four. The boys picking up the slack of the out classed women's team. Congrats.

    Each round has seen a team shoot anemically – around 33% from the field (40% is avg in most gms), 3-pt shooting in the 20% or worse (33% is typical most gms). Zags caught the bad shooting bug at a bad time, but it’s happened in each round. Tenn, Maryland, Iowa St had it in earlier rounds. Meanwhile in this gm, UConn was popping, congrats.
