While he did say that his choosing Embiid had nothing to do with the fact they were once teammates, it’s still telling that one of the most respected players in the league thinks he should win MVP.
“I’d like to see Joel win. Not because I was his teammate but because he deserves it.”

id believe this if danny didnt tell me personally that he spends his nights praying on joel’s downfall for destroying his career
