Bronny is a very good player, but let’s not act like he was dominating at this level. I’m all for him getting shine, but it’s not about hating on him just because u question why he never stood out on a national level. In time, he might become a very good NBA player, but that consistency hasn’t found him yet.

He wouldn't even be a top player in our Seattle metro league…let alone a selection for Mc Donalds All American….please!
If you really look at this video you will see the real Mc Donalds All American players on the far court.
The NBA player son is on this team only because of his fathers influence.
I mean come on, how many real teams could bronny James lead or carry on his own.
I am not hating here, the kid is talented but he is definitely not Mc Donald's All American or even Parade All American for that matter….maybe All state second team…fist team would be a stretch.
He was barely top 10 player in California and that was probably influenced as well.
He came in at number 8th in California top HS players.
What about top 5 players from Texas, from New York, from Seattle, from Miami, from Dallas, from Chicago, from Philly, from Detroit, from Phoenix, from North Carolina, from Atlanta, from Ohio, from New Jersey, from Milwaukee or even from Iowa, Utah or Indiana…. give me a freaking break.

Bronny James is not in these guys league and many of them weren't even chosen for the Mc Donald's All American team.
His appointment to the team is purely political and not justified… he is a good player… but not nearly one of the best in the country.
Here is a list past McDonald's All Americans you tell me if bronny can hang with these guys their senior year…
De Ande Ayton, Michael Porter Jr. Marquel Fultz, Pablo Banchero, Chet Holmgren, Bol Bol, Mitchel Saxen, Lonzo Ball, etc etc etc the list goes on and on.
And how about these guys… who were not McDonald's All Americans…
Dejunte Murray, Steph Curry, Kevin Porter Jr, Ja Morant, Zach Lavine, Issah Thomas, Malachi Flynn, Tari Eason, Jamal Crawford, Brandon Roy, etc etc etc.
Bronny James is not a true Mc Donalds All American and this selection slaps in the face all those athletes that are more talented and works extremely hard only to be overshadowed by politics and influence. 😐

In my opinion offense is not what is wrong with today's game, it's defense or lack thereof. It just seems like on the defensive end of the floor players lack the mental attitude and awareness to lock someone up. To make the other teams top scorer work for his shots, instead they would rather be flashy and create a new layup package then a defensive scheme. I guess whatever gets you where you want to be. Blessings.
