Bruh. There was a statistic during their playoff run two years ago. I forget exactly what it was but it had to do with Marcus Morris performances and the correlation to wins and losses. There was some thresh hold in regards to the performance of Morris that if met typically resulted in a dub. I think it was points and I forget what the number was but there was a pretty high correlation to clippers victory. Maybe Tye is using this same statistic thinking that if Morris starts performing better it will lead to more wins. Honestly, I don’t know lol I am just throwing darts

I’ve had so many lows as a Clipper fan before Blake Griffin that I’m not even going to bother being upset. I’m not paid millions of dollars to worry about how the coach plays the team. I just want to see a championship. If we get one, I can finally bury my Darius Miles Jersey.

My theory is that one of the conditions morris gave to signing here during his contract negotiations was a starting role or x amount of minutes
Although you can’t put that stuff in writing, breaking it looks bad to the organization for future signings
I genuinely think Lue can’t move Morris from the starting lineup without his approval

I saw this with Luke Walton as the Kings coach. He always played the guy with most experience the most. He didn’t even start Haliburton most of his rookie year. Think about that, starting Buddy Heild over Haliburton. Lue just is a shit coach who has been gifted already seasoned players for a long time. He hasn’t had to develop young talents or and he does not take time improve anyones game. RoCo is awesome he just needs the right system and time to cook.
