  1. Unless super big it's hard to come out of the west coast with a good reputation. Big shots bellow., boo, hoo

  2. I totally was down on LaVine a lot this season but man has he proved a lot of people wrong. I think Pat Bev coming in alleviated pressure from Derozan, Vucevic, and Lavine to be more defensive-minded. Which is something they have never excelled at previously. But you also have to keep in mind that the Bulls might have lost to a lot of crappy teams, but they also have beaten a ton of really good ones. Like the Nuggets, Boston (2x), Miami (3x), Bucks (2x), and 76ers. Although this season has been an identity crisis, at least they have been putting in hard-fought games against important teams.

  3. Patrick Beverly's effect on teams is an indictment on the modern player, it tells you players are not giving there best effort in games, and it should change how we view scoring in the modern NBA and the commentary on "this player is just unstoppable on offense" because it makes you ask… are they REALLY that much better offensively than in the past?

If i cloned a bunch of Tony Allen's, Kobe Bryants and Michael Jordans would players REALLY be scoring 50-60-70pts this casually against them? the Devin Bookers and Donovan Mitchells of the world… Really?

  4. I mean Pat Beverly is a good locker room guy is a good bench guy this is last season on his contract I do not see any team pain Pat Beverley a lot of money after this season if he's not willing to take the veteran minimum he's out the league he doesn't contribute nothing but a lot of noise in a lot of antics yes he can play defense once in a while he has no scoring prowess at this point in his career at this age he's not gonna give you 10 at night so if he's not willing to take a veteran minimum after this season his career is over he's out of the league I mean his players that we know are far better than him that's not playing the NBA right now and he's in his late 30s I do not see a team put him on the team at this point I meant JJ you are better than Pat Beverly you decided you wanted to quit to be with your son which is respectable but she was justyou still have something that could contribute to a team winning, he does not make a team win, he does not he's good to have with your team, but he does not make your team win, it's not the 80s

  5. A lot of ppl love to hate Pat Bev but that on floor + locker room energy and leadership is constantly underrated. It’s an intangible quality that translates to winning basketball

  6. PBs been a favorite of mine since his time at the rockets. Im all for the foxhole guys

  7. Bulls fan here, really happy we are playing ourselves out of the Wembenyama sweepstakes. Totally worth getting swept by Boston in the 1st round 😎

  8. This is the first and probably only JJ episode I disagree with 😮 pat bev is not even close to a nba star ⭐️

  9. Beverly has helped the bulls. But, Zach Lavine getting 100% healthy is what has really changed things. Everyone seems to get into rhythm when he plays well.

The bulls still have issues. It’s usually when they have 5+ empty possessions and keep taking low pct shots. They give up offensive rebounds too much at times. But the bulls are playing well right now.

  10. Pat Bev's delusion actually plays into his ability to hold players who are 100x better than him accountable.

  11. It's really over-rated the bulls ain't going no where pat bev just yo homeboy jj that's all u probably going to be a guest on his show I understand

  12. With the lonzo situation, I feel confident re signing coby white and of course ayo off the bench. We have 2 capable guards to take that role over

  13. Lol but he said all the lakers needed was to add him and we’d be in the playoffs…

  14. Pat Bev is a 🤡. Can't believe JJ is talking about him. He's on his 5th team in 6 seasons. He's been moved at the deadline the past two seasons and two teams, two!, said "nah, we're good" and bought him out. JJ I'm disappointed. I thought you were above the media sheep. "Correlation is not causation", the Bulls recent success has little to do with Pat Bev. Bulls are in the play-in cause the Pacers are trash.

  15. Talking basketball with JJ is brutal man 😂 in a good way, dude knows what he’s talking about 🫡👏🏻
