Is Jaylen Brown the best shooting guard in the NBA? Malcolm Brogdon has officially declared Brown the best 2 guard in the association. JAYLEN registered in 41 points, 13 rebounds, and was a +28 on the floor in the Celtics 137-93 win over the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday. Brown is the first Celtic to reach those numbers since Paul Pierce in 2002 (h/t StatMuse).
“He’s the best shooting guard in the league. He’ll be all NBA,” Brogdon said postgame. “He’ll make one of the teams this year. His game really speaks for him, for himself. You know, when JT [Jayson Tatum] is out he’s the number one option and he’s showing that he can be that. So, you know, he’s put in the work, he’s evolved since we came to the league together. He’s involved in taking giant steps forward every year. I mean he’s playing at an extremely high level.”

I’ve never seen player end a game with a +41!! I check every game, every single day too lol. That’s ridiculous but it tells you how efficient this dude is. His defense is amazing too.

His game is becoming similar to Jrue. Allowing the Forwards to carry ball, set plays, and then him being the glue guy. Scoring, passing, defending; high IQ. That's why I think Smart's been struggling since coming back, he got used to be the one to make plays for the Jays, a Primary PG. but it became different when he was gone
We caught DW at just the right moment when his game went from decent to great — he must be the most improved player of the year … and he could be 6th man of year too. So lucky to have a solid citizen like him to complement JB, Al and Malcolm.
Much better player than smart and will not make passing mistakes like brown and tatum in important parts of games
