Ugly defense as a whole tonight from basically everyone not named Pat. Just too slow on rotations. Honestly no one was really bad on offense, just played below our level defensively and people got hot…it’s going to happen on b2b’s even if I wish it wouldn’t. The Clips shot the shit out of the ball and earned this one.

Shoutout to the Paw for actually holding his own against Kawhi. Man actually gave him some trouble until they hunted switches. The only guy on the team tonight that actually looked strong on both sides of the ball. Dude should’ve been on the floor basically every minute Kawhi was. No idea why he wasn’t…best player on the team tonight by literal miles.

    Bulls get killed by Batum.

    Back to Chicago Wednesday.

  3. kingjuicepouch

This is the least competitive twelve point loss I can recall

  4. 3 point shooting was horrific, worse than our defense.

PWill game MVP. Please come back Caruso. WTF Billy, PLAY VOOCH IN THE POST. HE PLAYED 15 MINUTES LAST GAME.

  5. Blatt_called_timeout

This is a “bury the tape” type game. Just pretend it didn’t happen and get ready for the Lakers

  6. Capital-Vacation-881

The regression of Ayo should be studied

  7. Think its time for Ayo to see some DNP’s for Dalen

  8. BlammoSweetums

Bulls players should consider shooting 8 for 10 from three, I think that would help a lot with winning

  9. hopelessswitchowner

Idk who our three point shooters even are?

  10. Started off decent but quickly fell off when we let the Arkansas HS Phenom Batum go off.

Our players are super lost on defense without AC on the floor to help coordinate unfortunately.

But the bigger picture is that this is our FIRST road loss in March. Hopefully we rest up and get ready for the Lakers who will definitely want revenge on Wed.

  11. paatreek

Ayo had 5 seconds of play that was productive. And that steal was a back cut he got beat on and was lucky to recover the ball.

  12. mattmikemo23

Credit to them for making us pay on every mistake we made defensively tonight. We gotta stay focused for Wednesday. Lakers want to punch us in the mouth right away so we gotta bring the energy. Lebron wants to embarrass us.

  13. Intrepid_Leading_993

Ayo is bad and this game shows how much we need Caruso. Doesn’t help that we played the prime golden state warriors. Major improvements needed if we are gonna be consistent at all in the next few years or even try to make it out the play ins this year

  14. Murimadness

I know excuses won’t cut it at this point in the season but would be hard pressed to find any team locked in for that type of b2b. Where you play at 12:30 day 1 and then 7:30 the next day.

  15. chidogad3

I’m just going to chalk this one up to it being a back-to-back on the West Coast without Caruso and the Clippers not being able to miss from 3. Hopefully they go back to Chicago and beat Lebron again. And the Hawks & Raptors both lose tomorrow.

Kendall Gill: “You know what we used to do back in the day? Foul them hard to get them off their rhythm. But nowadays you get called for a flagrant”

Will Perdue: “Yaaa… but there’s still a way to do that”

    LMAO

  17. SwimmingLaddersWings

I’m completely fine with letting Ayo walk but goddamn we need shooting on this roster in the off season. Unfortunately I have zero hope in AKME in being competent enough to fix this roster

  18. jerry2501

Funny that JJ mentioned this on his podcast this morning, but he said the Bulls won’t stand a chance against a team like the Celtics in the playoffs because of their lack of three point shooting.

Couldn’t be more obvious after a game like today. We had some shitty rotations and let them get hot from three. We didn’t even have a bad offensive game, but you can’t win trading 2s for 3s like that.

  19. ToeJelly420

the Paw played great, and that’s all i’m going to say

  20. OnceAteABurgerAMA

Y’all ever say Jayson Tatum like Batum?

    Jayson Tuh-toom

  21. Smathers

Well hopefully the lakers don’t kick the shit out of us

  22. Foreign_Tangelo

Wtf where Gordon n Batum on. Felt like they couldn’t miss a 3. Move on to the next game.

  23. igothitbyacar

They showed up in the first half. Second game of a back to back seemed to take its toll in the second half. I don’t hate this loss as much as it hurts to lose a game this late in the season

  24. lyme6483

Ayo better be off the team next year or getting the Tony Bradley treatment. Not skilled enough to get minutes.

And for anybody calling this a sophomore slump, nope the things he’s struggles with he had problems going back to Illinois. If people are honest he is playing at a G-League level and realistically shouldn’t even be in the rotation.
