I don’t believe in moral victories, but making those nuggets and their bitchass fans shit their pants with our 3rd string line up was fun

    I’ll take it lmao

  2. st-christian

Nuggets 1st round exit, Sixers 2nd round exit, a win for me

  3. romanticynicist

It’s been super frustrating to watch Dedmon take over the “old, washed, but still played for some reason” backup C mantle that DJ had last year.

That said, I honestly think Doc has done a much better job of being flexible than he did last year, so I’m mildly hopeful that Bball Paul absolutely lapping Dedmon this game in every possible way will lead to Doc finally giving up the ghost when it comes to playing a shitty old talll guy at backup C.

I guess we’ll see what happens.

  4. darylraspberry

Honestly I had fun this game man as much as could be expected. Reed looked great. I think also their near collapse to our garbage time unit as well as the controversial no call will be noticed by the media and take some shine off of their win

  5. xychosis

OTTNO. Bench mob earned a fuckton of praise for that effort. Get healthy, Jo and James.

  6. jloops03

Nuggets better hope the Mavs don’t snake that 8 seed

  7. SamHinkiesNephew

Tobias harris makes max money and was at best the third best player on our team tonight…without harden and embiid.

  8. Ninjapirate2000

Sixers need someone to take Niang’s minutes his 3’s aren’t enough to cover for everything else he can’t do

  9. Bandicuz

I haven’t watched much of Jaden Springer, but dude looks like he could be a pest on the defensive end. Nice fight by the bench Sixers, shame we cuffed ourselves to Dedmon so early in the buyout market.

It’s also crazy how they’re not able to change the call after seeing Green was OOB before the foul.

  10. PensiveinNJ

Glenn makes me care about shit I didn’t care about because the shit he does is so stupid. Reed is miles above Dedmon right now but he only got 17 minutes of run.

Why. Reed should be next man up if Embiid is out.

We literally were running House at the 5 at one point instead of even having a center.

    Glenn makes me hate basketball.

  11. UnfilteredGarbage

Who wants to post the replay of the out of bounds? I couldn’t watch the game

  12. StaringAtMyHugeBulge

This game why I don’t care about W/L now that we’ve locked up a playoff berth, we are a fantastic away team when fully healthy.

Getting our bench some meaningful minutes against strong competition is priceless. We want everyone confident in their game when the games actually matter and Rivers needs to figure out how to use this team to the fullest.

  13. They literally give a shout out to minivan on this cure commercial. What the actual f

  14. DoctaJXI

I ain’t even mad the nuggets are dog shit

  15. The stat padder could only beat the Blue Coats because the refs can’t see the baseline. OTTNO

  16. KonyayJWest

Im wondering if Doc has videos fucking his coaching staffs wives. Why are they complicit in allowing doc to terrorize this team. absolutely no reason paul shouldn’t have started. Doc wants to keep him in the mid for some weird mud fettish

  17. Patient_Jicama_4217

I’m still pissed that I wasted so much damn money to watch a showdown that never happened..

    Never doing that again

  18. jloops03

Springer is absolutely going to be a player next season

  19. st-christian

Man, we’re good. No Jojo and James and we still put up a fight against the #1 team in the West.

  20. SamHinkieKnew

Paul Reed had 16 points on 100% FG% to go along with 9 boards in just over 16 minutes. Not bad for a guy who I routinely see here described as “fucking terrible.”

  21. Rhino-Ham

The most encouraging takeaway from this game is that Reed looks so legit. He’s actually making most (all?) of his layups, whereas earlier in the season I had to cover my eyes when he got the ball under the rim.

  22. tbh this game might have done more damage to jokic’s case for mvp than it helped, if u watched it

problem is, jokic stans dont watch games. they analyze spreadsheets and refresh RAPTOR stats lmfao

  23. HappyGooner45

These bums are getting ass whooped by the Lakers lmao. Not moved one bit

  24. percy2376

Melton and Milton lost us this game.Combined 3 for 19

  25. Anyone that gave up on Embiid’s campaign today is weak asf. Denver gonna flame out in the 1st or 2nd as usual.

  26. chin1111

This is such a terrible year of sports for me so far. Nadal is still out. Mercedes suck right now in F1. The Sixers aren’t not a part of that. It’s not even about this game by itself but what it represents. We’re not even hitting wide open three’s right now. How did we get so banged up in one week’s time!? The worm has turned for the worst with Glenn, back to making the same old stupid mistakes.

Let’s just get to the playoffs healthy, I guess. Not too optimistic about the last few games. Will probably see a couple more Embiid-Harden DNPs.

  27. AlphonseTheDragon

How Reed doesn’t have the backup spot locked down, its fucking absurd. Jaden Springer, Korkmaz, Jalen all looked great too. Honestly by the end this game was fun as hell. I was praying for a couple more Trezz Joker matchups, man was feelin it. Hopefully Melton shakes his slump before the playoffs

  28. BearBait_

If embiid wasn’t going to play this was the best outcome for the MVP narrative probably, though I do think he’ll get shit on for a couple days for it.

  29. burnerisnottaken

After a dominant performance like that, the MVP will clearly go to >!Paul Reed!< and there is little we can do about it.

  30. Free_Dog_6837

ugh we fucking win if reed got 30+ minutes

  31. GarfieldFromGarfield

that trez three made me imagine a universe where he hit the game winning three lmao

  32. The_Real_Papabear

Tonight was BS. Jokic had more free throws than Embiid and Harden combined.

  33. DNAtornado

Is Reed up for an extension this off-season? Literally the only conceivable reason for him to come off bench instead of Dedmon is he’ll look too good and will be too rich for Morey’s taste so they are purposing tanking his value so they can resign him at a discount.

  34. shakehasbignuts

Just got banned on r/nba for doing nothing lol

  35. RisingEephus8

Will people still get castrated for suggesting that a guy that consistently puts up 0/0/0/0/0 statlines as a starter is in no way deserving of those minutes, even if he has the hypothetical ability to occasionally pester an opposing starter or grab a couple clutch boards?

  36. sherekahn5

What happened to shake Milton? Guy has been pretty awful

  37. Thegrandmistressofoz

u/dmorey Daryl pls, we’re not asking for much but please stop signing these over the hill, clearly bad, clearly nothing left in the tank big men for Doc to play. There’s just no scenario where it ends productively for us

  38. dumb_commenter

Ha look at the +/- of the starters vs the 3rd string

  39. HappyGooner45

JOKER YOU STILL CANT MAKE IT THROUGH A BURGER KING DRIVE THRU 😭😭😭

  40. Saitaver

Embiid should rest against Suns or and play against Jokic. I think he just lost his chance at mvp.
