Would love to keep tre and mamu. The jones family seems to specialize in great backup point guards, and mamu has shown a lot of potential.

I’d guess we keep Barlow mamu and tre(if someone doesn’t offer him more money). I like Julian but I think that’s dependent on the draft and FA. I don’t think we keep kbd or gorgui

I’m pretty interested in seeing what Domnick Barlow becomes. I feel like he could become at least Drewbanks level at a younger age

I could see KBD getting a half decent offer from a competing team who just needs wing depth and if so, Pop will tell him to take it and not come back lol

Considering the team is still likely to be in a spot where they’re not really competing for much, I would hope that they look to bring in whoever they draft with their two second round picks and give them real opportunities at minutes to see if they can find a steal or two. So guys like gorgi, KBD? Rather move on from since we know what they bring to the table and that they’re not going to be around on the next competitive spurs team

Unless the Spurs get scoot, I don’t see any reason not to bring Jones back. He’s not going to command a ton of money. If someone like Malachi or Wesley suddenly explode and show potential to be a starting point guard, moving him to the bench or getting rid of him won’t be difficult or too costly. And while he’s an extremely limited player, he does have a useful skill set

Mamu should be brought back. He’s shown promise and I think when we get the team healed up a little bit and he can play more at the four he’ll be able to show even more. I just don’t think he’s a full-time five

Langford is a coin flip for me. I like his defense but I don’t think he’s that good defensively or as a defensive prospect to ignore the insane level of rawness he shows on offense for a guy who’s been in the league 4 seasons.

If San Antonio doesn’t draft any wing or guard prospects, I’d be cool bringing him back, but even if it’s someone taken early in the second round, if we bring in any player that looks like they could handle some minutes in the back court, I’d prefer just to give some new blood and opportunity.

I just think he’s the type of player who will probably cap out as a good bench specialist who hustles and defends more than a full multi-toolled rotational player

Barlow should definitely be kept around. His physical tools are extremely impressive. Almost as impressive as how little of a clue he has on how to play the game of basketball. Which in this case actually kind of plays into his favor considering he’s one of the five youngest players in the league

San Antonio should definitely keep him around as a long-term project and see if he can tap into something.

tre and Mamu are top priorities to bring back for me. I’d probably let Romeo and KBD walk assuming we can hopefully upgrade those spots in the draft, but I wouldn’t be upset if they come back as depth. I’m assuming our two 2nd round picks will correlate with our 2-way contracts, so I’m not sure if I’d want to bring champagne or Barlow back on the full time roster. and dieng as a vet leader is fine his role too
