I can’t wait to go through all of this again next year. It’s going to be so much fun

Why’d they wait so long to make it official?

  3. Maybe with all the extra money Tsai has now he can buy Ben out.

Sucks we can’t even take advantage of Mikal’s bargain of a contract because of Ben’s albatross one.

If we’re being honest, he’d only really help improve our transition scoring in his physical state this season.

Things slow down in the playoffs so he wouldn’t help much playoff wise. I suppose he could help our problem with defending big men over 220 but I think Sharpe is up for the task.

Hell of a season, Ben! Great showing.

Was he even on the team?

  7. Hope he gets well soon and comes back stronger. Wasn’t surprised to see all the negative comments lol

I fear Ben Simmons will be like Luol Deng on the Lakers. A huge contract that just sat there till expiration.

That trade was a disaster and would get most GM’s fired

This team has a habit of releasing obvious news 2 weeks later. It’s very impressive.

Lol im dealing with pretty much the same back problems Ben has and I got zero sympathy for the guy. His back isn’t the problem

I don’t want him on this roster anymore man.

He wants to go to work as much i do. Gotta love him.

They could’ve done this a long time ago instead of dragging this. Man clearly is not physically and mentally ready.

    From the related ESPN article:

“Simmons, 26, has another two years remaining on his contract, paying him $37.8 million in 2023-24 and $40.3 million in 2024-25.”

For those of you keeping score, the Nets have paid him $46,639,662 for 291 points scored through 1.5 seasons.

    Great….
