Sometimes opponent’s role players go off. It is what it is. Obviously the defense was not good but it doesn’t help when they’re making every contested shot even when you do guard up.

Anyways, i guess we got the misses out before Thursday. It’s just still a huge concern how reliant we are on the 3 point shot. No contender has more variance than we do, no contender has a greater gap between floor and ceiling.

Rob don’t look like himself no more man 😢

  3. changbanggang

Why do I get this feeling we’re approaching a dark timeline where:

    1. We lose a Game 7 against Bucks
    2. Jaylen doesn’t get All-NBA and leaves

  4. Brad-Stevens

The problem with going through the motions to start the game is that when you actually start playing defense, sometimes the players are already comfortable from making the open ones and start hitting the tough ones

And the Wiz hit some TOUGH ones

Excited for the Bucks game Thursday even though it’s less meaningful now … We’ll probably see some rest games the rest of the way since it’s looking like the 2 seed, which isn’t the worst thing in the world instead of going full throttle the rest of the way

Remember the time we got cornholed by the hospital Wizards?

  6. horseshoeoverlook

I haven’t watched a game in weeks, better for my mental health haha

  7. ImeStopPlayingDennis

Might as well give up the 1 seed and focus on resting players

  8. NateBlaze

Fire Grant Williams into the motherfucking sun.

  9. penguuuuins

Take tatum out 4 mins in the first when he’s 4/5). Refusal to go further than a 8 man rotation. Took him 3 quarters to stop putting a guard on a 7’3 center. Refusal to put the starters in down 13 with 4 mins to go with the first seed on the line. Most importantly no offensive adjustments other than chuck 3s. Mazzulla ball baby

  10. AWalker17

Why did it take Mazzulla so long to try other players? The guys he had in clearly didn’t want to try tonight.

  11. DarkJoe272

I hate putting on the rose colored glasses, but it was tough seeing them put real effort in 2-3Q and just get everything made, then giving up late in the 3Q.

  12. InAingeWeTrust

I mean, I can’t say I’m like incredibly worried. They always show up against good teams. What was it, like 10-2 record against top 3 seeds? But I don’t think there should be trap games in late March if you’re contending but this team shows out against the top teams so it’s whatever. Disappointed

  13. Kermitt7979

If they can’t make it to the ECF, fire Joe Mazzula

  14. soulbeef

man i forgot they were playing tonight what the hell 🤣

  15. lKingKash

This teams lack any grit. I hate the “they will turn it on” mentality. Teams who play like lose. Teams who play like that and have never won anything in the past lose embarrassingly. This team is gonna get upset by Miami in the first round.

  16. DeucesWild10

A good coach doesn’t let this game happen.

If we play like this, minimal ball pressure and heaving 3s, we won’t make it deep like last year. Last year we played elite defense and knew how to move the ball.

  17. Kaladin83

Joe Mazzula leaving a lot to be desired. When brad Stevens was the coach these players ended up walking all over him and not responding to his even keel demeanor. Seems these players need motivating

  18. FredSeaRol

Well that fucking sucked ahah. We can’t get too high or too low. On to the bucks!

  19. loffredo95

No excuses. First seed right there AFTER you blew it and you lose to the fucking Wiz.

Tatums late season slump right before the playoffs. Brown spouting his mouth off talking career future when we’re not even into the playoffs yet.

These guys heads aren’t fucking in it man. That’s it.

  20. Memokerobi

Took them just 3 wins to start looking down on teams again. There goes any chance at the 1 seed. Fucking pathetic

  21. I think it’s me. Seems like every game I’ve sat down to watch since January has resulted in a loss. I’m Noah folk, please throw me overboard

  22. Sojourner_52

Weird game. Usually a loss like this would mean Tatum played like shit, but he was totally fine.

Shooting luck was brutal of course. But, DWhite and Al never got off the plane, and Jaylen and Malcolm were also trash defensively. Don’t think Smart was really put in a position to succeed either. Yikes

  23. The #1 seed would have been so nice – avoid playing both Philly & Milwaukee. I just hope they can get their act together – because this was supposedly a game they wanted to win, and they got beat bad by a mediocre team at best.

  24. nicklovin508

6 games before the playoffs. Lord have mercy

  25. I miss the Isaiah Thomas led Celtics when we weren’t left questioning our players’ heart and focus after almost every game

  26. Last year we easily could have best GS and then the whole vibe could be so chill – heart of a champion and what not. But not….if this group does not win it, it’s going to be talks of disappointment for years! Even the Garnett/Pierce teams should have won more – but at least they got one, and that makes you immune! This team is good enough to win it all – I just hope they play the team ball that makes them their best!
