Good for Drummond. Too much social media is bad for your mental health

What playing for Billy Donovan does to a mf

  2. Dankofamericaaa2

This is exactly why I deleted ALL social media platforms besides Reddit.

  3. I’m not really a fan of the fact that so many people treat athletes and other celebrities as role models. But as long as people are doing it, I hope this is something that people see and emulate. Acknowledging and seeking help for mental health is behavior that needs to be accepted and normalized.

    Good on Drummond.

Deleting Twitter a couple years ago did wonders for my mental health. Doomscrolling is a real problem.

A lot of people won’t take him seriously because of idiots like Ja Morant using mental health as an excuse

I really do hope Andre feels better.

I’m so dumb I thought he meant his jersey number at first

All the best to the big man, I hope he’s okay.

God bless Drummond wouldn’t wish that hell on no man, dude has everything and still depressed , need to start treating mental health like physical health

  9. bigbaldheadNR

I feel him completely. Hope he gets it figured out.

That’s the best way to handle it as a public person. Good on him!

    This!!!

Andre, I hope you find the help you are seeking. Know you are loved by many!

Man, hope Andre is doing okay. During and after his Sixers tenure I could tell hes a great dude

Makes Kyrie’s 45 posts in one hour Instagram explosion about how too much social media is bad for your brain even more confounding. If you actually feel that way, you don’t go on social media and make 45 posts. You get off social media. Kyrie still immune to both irony and common sense. And still busy pontificating as if he’s the one who hasn’t had his brain melted by the internet.

Hope Drummond gets the help he needs and starts to feel better.

I can’t believe more celebrities aren’t doing this. There’s no way I’d be able to handle seeing total strangers talk about me on a daily basis. Fame sounds like a nightmare.

Every person is different but I just want to say that if you’re struggling mentally, get off Reddit, delete all your other social media apps and just breathe. It may not fix the issue but if you can get a tiny bit happier as a result, that’s progress.

Props to him, not only to do it but to make a point to say get help if you need it.

Man I applaud this guy. I also can admit I’m part of the problem for bashing players in the commen section on sports pages. I should stop.

I’m sure there’s a lot that beats up on him, but I was at the game in Detroit a few weeks back and he was getting boos like crazy. I thought it was some bullshit. The guy played his ass off for us and did nothing wrong. Just because management didn’t put the best lineup around him and relied too much on him to carry the future of our franchise when he was about 20, fans chose to let him know he wasn’t welcome. Not cool.

Getting off of Facebook was one of the best decisions I ever made, ngl.

Sucks for the people who actually have mental problems that it is now pretty much being equated with shitty behavior.
