    No, as it would require Luka pass Kyrie the ball.

    Edit: The video literally shows in the second clip Luka as the ballhandler, Powell as screener, and THJ instead of Kyrie as the popper.

    Wouldn’t it make more sense to use Wood as the popper? More options after the initial screens.

    they already do, this gets run multiple times a game even this season. but opposing teams know when it’s coming/how to defend it properly so they’ll switch the backscreen/no advantage created and the possession just becomes a mismatch-hunting isolation for Luka

    We used to run it a lot(especially last season)

    But I am not sure if we have ever run it with Kyrie as the screener

    Mavs don’t play any Spain PnRs this season. Don’t know why, my guess is Kidd doesn’t know how to.
