Just realized that Rudy is a 7″0 Swizz Beatz
He’s really been the solidifying force this season. One guy you can count on to typically bring what he’s supposed to bring whether it’s his A game or B game.
But I also got to say, there are some games where he’s a stone cold killer and some games where he’s kind of a clusterfk with his arms in places they shouldn’t be all game long. Kind of like yesterday. Whatever causes the difference, whether it’s diddling the wife the night before or what kind of wheaties he has for breakfast after all his years playing you would think he might have it figured out. Let’s do the things that brings out the clean DPOY type Gobert more often because that guy is amazing but that other guy, well, I guess he gets his rebounds anyway.
Not that any of the other players are different in this but Rudy has the experience in preperations. He knows where his hands and arms shouldn’t be.
String a couple more together and suddenly you’re in a much different spot going forward.

If we beat the Suns tomorrow, would arguably be the best Timberwolves road trip in history considering the stakes and opponents.
It sucks defending Rudy to the public and here is why. If you don’t watch games or understand basketball more than just a basic amount you will think he’s an overpaid center who has average stats. He screens like I’ve never seen before. His help D is insane, the amount of times I see guards switch onto Naz or somethin, drive in and Rudy forces them to pass out is insane. He is almost always in the right spot and doesn’t foul out too often. Obviously his blocks and boards are there but his lack of offense outside the restricted area makes everyone think he’s trash scorer. He does so many non box score things and it sucks seeing everyone shit on him non stop without any context to his play style. He is a huge upgrade for this team.
