The Indiana Pacers can learn a lot from the Oshae Brissett and Jordan Nwora pairing. Host Tony East is joined by Will Furr from 8 Points, 9 Seconds and The Fieldhouse to break down why that duo is important. They also discuss young players fitting into the Pacers identity and look at the Milwaukee Bucks Jrue Holiday trade and wonder when the Pacers could make a similar deal.

What other duos would you like to see more of down the stretch of this season? Seems like the Smith-Jackson pairing (will discuss on Friday's episode) should be explored.
Pacers have a ton of picks/cap/etc value, which means they are gonna be extremely active as buyers as soon as possible. Which means Oshea's chances of staying with the Pacers are at 5%. Perhaps even lower.
Jaylen Brown is a pacer
Goga- 5/7 from the floor
13 points and 6 rebounds in 13 minutes and took Memphis to the final Bell and had a chance to win at Memphis.
Goga was the only Pacer in the + in +/- season stat this Year and had the
Best defensive rating. Thats based on stat muse. But Fans would call him garbage just like they did Two time all star Sabonis.
Pacer fans would tweet on kings posts earlier in the year about how garbage Sabonis is and was. They sure have been quiet the rest of the year.
But most fans think Buddy is good and Sabonis was garbage. Why I don't mess with Twitter anymore.
I actually agree with your Guest about Jalen Smith. His nba career is on life support right now as is Duartes. I believe Nwora has cemented a spot though.
Nworas definitely showed enough since he's been traded. I'm definitely A fan.
Jalen Smith who I like alot and believe Is talented is just too inconsistent and not reliable. He's becoming better I suppose but I can usually immediately read his body language and know how he's going to play. He always seems to have something else present in his head beside the actual game going on. It's like he has a difficult time losing himself in the moment and letting go. His energy seems real low some days too.
Duarte should focus on playmaking. Should concentrate on being A team player. It's like he's only concerned about his scoring stats. Too many games where he has zero assists and one rebound and misses all his 3s.
I've closed the door on Duarte in a Pacer uniform. I believe one more team will give him A shot but I honest to God think he'd be happy being big fish in small pond playing overseas or in the Puerto Rican league. I think the fact he made millions and made it into the NBA is a success to him. I think he'd much rather be big fish in small pond playing overseas somewhere.
The Pacers need to post a job search that only reads "no rebounding, no defense, applicants need not apply"
Do you think Oshae will be back next year? I think we have to let him sign elsewhere to make room for a draftee. Nwora is a keeper for me.
I would like a Kenyon Martin Jr or Kelly Oubre on the wing. Both are athletic and defensive minded
Oshae won’t be here next year… I think we get someone like OG or Jon Isaac in the off season
