It’s funny how people only care about offense nowadays and forget about defense until you realize that team is not as good as you thought they were because of their bad defense especially come playoff time where defense matters the most

Been watching the Mavs all season long. This team has been playing like this all season long. They play up for big games and down all the others. Then there's the defense which last season was great but that doesn't mean it was like that all season long. Right at the beginning of 2022 they started playing really well defensively. Before then the team wasn't this bad on defense but not as bad as this season. Also for haven't one of the best offenses in the league they sure go long long stretches without scoring. 4-5 mins without stopping the bleeding. Meanwhile the other squad going crazy and its GG. Praying to whoever Kyrie thinks is god he stays and they get an actual center. Dwight Powell has been on the squad for way too long. And Luka cries too much about not getting the call.
Only a casual wouldnt see this coming. Jason Kidd sucks.

Jason kidd is the cancer for this team. And it has nothing to do with Luka or Kyrie. They are doing their jobs they are supposed to be doing. Its the coaching and FO that has 0 clue how to round off their roster and play it more effectively.
I hope they miss the playoffs.

Mark Cuban is just as CHEAP as Mickey Arronson,that's why either team has no chance of winning a championship,until they open their wallets,an go after very good players,and not ,undrafted,or G league players. The way both teams are playing,a highschool team can beat them,and that's a Damm shame. On the Heat there are at least 8 players that must go,and Udonis retiring,and not going out as a winner,is F up. The past 3 years,both Mickey,and Cuban,don't seem to give a Shit,Open your wallets you 2 SB,s. And The Marvricks there are 5 players That must go. The Heat should go after Kyrie,and give him a 3 year,150 million non guaranteed,so if he pulls the crap he has pulled in the past,the Heat won't lose out.

As a person not interested in Luka, hate Cuban, and done with Kyrie’s antics. Dallas is really having a fantastic season.
Problem #1: Luca is alone. Period. Like Ewing was, like Miller was. Titles are most of the times with at least a complementary duo and a good defense.
like i've said. it's not gonna workout with 2 very ball dominant player and kyrie trade isn't gonna fix their defense.

Everyone wants to talk about the kyrie trade being their downfall. The entire team defensively is atrocious. They can't box put or get rebounds, allowing multiple second chance possessions. They weren't any better at this prior to the trade
Mavs lack rebounding. They don't have a center.
They will make it to play off as long as Luka keep healthy
I personally think that if they find a couple defensive players they are easily contenders and better chemistry. Mavs need a little bit more time but Luka doesnt have that time

Biggest betrayal. I felt like Dodo, Brunson and Dinwiddie got betrayed by the mavs FO. Seeing Nets winning and on the top of the playoffs brackets makes me happy. I want mavs to keep losing so Kidd and their FO realize that they made a big mistake and they completely ruined a good team

I disagree with what you said about Kleber, his contract is actually fantastic. He's a stretch big that can also boost your defence. His market value might actually be higher than what he is getting paid.
I hope the Mavs can make moves and not treat Luka like what the Blazers did to Lillard
Surprised Jaden Hardy didn't get mentioned. I think the goal is for him to slide into that Brunson role but the point about the frontcourt hits the hardest, I think at this point we should ride with Wood in the starting lineup because at least this spaces the floor for 5-out which is how we beat the Jazz in the playoffs. If they miss the playoffs Kyrie is gone.

Once again, Dallas Mavericks making bad decisions. Their defense continues to play weak and not enough competitive to be title contender. The point is, Kyrie and Luka are not necessary the problem because even if Mark Cuban have been approved weird and a lot trades, this franchise still doesn't work.
The man wants his own team and no help. I respect it but poor guy wont know it like Dame Lillard.
