In Episode 1370, Sean Woodley goes solo to break down the Toronto Raptors’ comfortable 106-92 win over Kyle Lowry and the Miami Heat in a game that offered a glimpse at what the Raptors can look like if and when Scottie Barnes ascends to nightly The Dude status. Off the top, Sean chats about Barnes’ imrpessive 22-7-12 effort that saw him make good things happen just about any time he touched the ball. There’s been a lot of tension over the team hierarchy this season. When Barnes plays like that, the pecking order of the future comes in the focus, and it’s pretty damn exciting. Fred VanVleet and Pascal Siakam are too accomplished and too good to simply hand the keys to the offense over the Scottie. But if he forces their hand? Surely they’ll buy in. Next, Sean takes a look at the way Siakam, VanVleet and O.G. Anunoby complemented Barnes’ game wonderfully, showing off the type of ready made supporting cast Barnes can have around him as he ascends if the Raptors keep the core together through the summer. Lastly, Sean runs through the Good (Jakob Poeltl doing the dirty work), the Bad (the fact that the play-in didn’t exist before a couple years ago) and the Hmmm (Precious Achiuwa being back, hopefully not for one night only) to round out the show. The Raptors are .500 for the first time since December 9th! Holy hell!

5:25 – just give a chance, shift Pascal to second option, and it might better his defensive approach.
Pascal will never step down for a secondary role. Especially every year before all star selection. He will be selfish and I'm not sure why you would want to go through that every year to just selfishly hold onto siakam

it took a year for the fan base to get to here. I think it's been a year of proving it to us all. it's time to get above .500
it's time to move on. Fred can play, we are happy with him, but not more than 12-15 shots per game.
We appreciate the Championship years. we can even give him his bag. we just want to do what's right for both player and team.
I agree with your point. we needed time to test Barnes in real situations. we took the whole season to do that. it's a valuable thing we did as a fanbase.
Pascal is still an all-nba player. Fred is still an all star. He can be our Desmond bane or Malcolm Brogdon if he wants to. we would be glad to keep Fred. we just want some honesty. we just want to get above. 500

Myles turned gits this roster better than Poeltl. IMO. I like Poeltl just fail to see how we sign GTJ, FVV and Poeltl. If either GTJ or FVV walks in FA Poeltl becomes a liability due to his VERY limited offensive ability.
