giving up a lotto pock would hurt ways more than a fun play in and at best a 1st round exit would feel good.
A #9 pick or so could be a huge asset.
We lost to Charlotte. Charlotte. We should tank. We can’t make noise in the playoffs.
Is there *reasonable* expectation we do anything meaningful in the postseason?? No? Get the asset and trade it for Doe and Spence.

A first round exit at the expense of a top 10 pick in a loaded draft for a team that desperately needs cheap and young talent. It’s pretty obvious to me.

I think if we don’t get our pick this year then we’ll find ourselves in a similar situation next year. This roster isn’t talented enough. Luka and Kyrie can do their best to maximize our players but if we want to win in the playoffs we need better, more talented players, and the draft would be the easiest way to do that.
