If only we had a competent centre at the beginning of the season smh.

  2. Wow, and pretty comparable to the 4 teams directly ahead of us too.

  3. SELL, SELL EVERYTHING, WAMBAYAMA LOTTERY IS THE ONLY SOLUTION TO THIS HORRIBLE SEASON. TRADE EVERYTHING OF VALUE AND LOSE, THAT IS THE BEST CHOICE. BE A BAD TEAM FOR THE NEXT DECADE. DRAFT A KAWHI LEONARD TYPE AND TRADE HIM FOR MORE PICKS. GET ALL THE PICKS, IF WE HAVE EVERY DRAFT PICK, WE CANNOT MAKE THE WRONG PICK.

This team basically had one terrible month that derailed the entire season.

If they had gone say 8-7 in December, which is pretty much their win% every other month of the season, they would today be tied with the Nets for 6th place (and broadly in line with preseason expectations).

People want to talk about this season like it’s been Tampa 2.0 but truly, it was one bad month away from being just a completely normal and expected season.

  5. [Weep my man we are 18-27 against teams .500 and above.](https://www.espn.com/nba/standings/_/view/expanded) One of the worse in our conference. We are like 7-7 during that run against .500 teams. We also have another 4 tough games to finish. The final 2 games against Milwaukee/Boston might be a toss up/out if both teams already satisfied with their standing.

we are 18-27 on the season against .500 teams so it makes sense why we are .500

Oh shit. This is actually a nice stat. Unlike some of the usual.

This season has been had so much parity that I can’t tell the difference between a good team and a bad one. The margins are that thin it’s insane, I feel like this season will be talked about years from now.

Tied for 4th after tonight. So basically we’re a contender

Playing to our potential with Poeltl, we’d be about 6 seed in the east. The question is, with this same group, how do you move to that higher tier and compete with top teams outside of Barnes becoming a star? It’s going to take some time and some moves.

  12. ortg/drtg/net for fred, scottie, og, pascal, yak

    overall: 120.7 / 107.5 / +13.2
    home: 127.0 / 103.4 / +23.5
    road: 115.5 / 110.7 / +4.8

since the yak trade, compared to the rest of the league, they rank:
    overall: 120.7 (#3) / 107.5 (#1) / +13.2 (#1)
    home: 127.0 (#1) / 103.4 (#1) / +23.5 (#1)
    road: 115.5 (#15) / 110.7 (#2) / +4.8 (#7)

translation – our starting lineup is AWESOME

Even then we are fifth in the east. Eastern conference is more like Beastern conference.

This is why I don’t want to see Nurse leave.

1.) who would even replace him?

2.) When given an actual NBA roster he can do a lot. The fact of the matter is without a proper center, or a proper bench we struggle. There’s only so much a coach can do when your back-up point guard is either Malachi or Banton. Fix our bench by next season, and hopefully include a healthy Porter, and I can see us competing for the 4th seed.
