Wizards loss, though, pretty much shuts the door on the 8th spot. The very last hope the Jazz have left are the Wizards’ last 2 home games: Miami (playing on a back-to-back) and Houston. A real Hail Mary play, especially considering the Jazz would still need to lose to Denver at home, who likely will be resting their starters.
