Crazy the game turned when AD was on the floor and we were playing 5 on 4

  2. scofieldslays

Not even mad after this one just really sad. Sad that Naz got hurt, sad that the flu hit this team at the worst time just when they started to come together. We haven’t had a good Ant game since before the all star break. Kat has been just miserable out there at everything but shooting.

Really feel like we might not get to see the best version of this team that we saw glimpses off earlier and that just makes me profoundly sad.

  3. cayuts21

Finch is going to have to make some adjustments in a hurry. Points in the paint is our bread and butter and this is the second straight game we couldn’t get anything around the basket.

Also, it’d be nice if we could get healthy

  4. clars701

AD’s theatrics in the paint won the Lakers this battle, but the diarrhea they just contracted will win the Wolves the war

  5. PlayInChampions

Serious teams do not allow 24-2 run at home in a must win game. Serious teams do not lose 6 out of last 7 at home. Serious teams do not blow up 10 point lead in 9 out of 10 games (17 losses this season with 10+ lead, second place after Portland).

8 seed is our peak this season.

  6. irishace88

What an absolute shit time for the entire team to get the flu. Ant is a shell of himself and it shows. We need All-Star Ant if we’re going to get out of the play in.

  7. Thimit22

Anyone expecting a win is fooling themselves. All the odds were against us

  8. irishace88

We absolutely need a better backup PG than Jmac. Jmac vs Schroder was the difference in the game.

  9. foye2smith

It’s definitely bigger than Ant, but man do we need Ant to get right.

  10. brolycow

This was an embarrassing loss, but it’s really just par for the course of the worst franchise in NBA history. They literally just suck happiness out of the state at this point, 24-2 run WTF was that

  11. makan_sate

Can’t complaint about the refs now. They’ve been solid pretty much all night.

  12. Particular_Shop_8718

Towns hate on twitter is so crazy lol, hating him more than other rival fans

  13. the_devil_wears_jnco

the wolves offense with kat back has been terrible

  14. lordsprakerino

They just looked so gassed midway through the 3rd. Seems like the illness spreading around is pretty serious

  15. That was a stinky ass half of basketball. The cynical side of me is saying AD pulled a Djokivic to turn the momentum off the game around.

  16. Andy_Wiggins

Man, Finch giving McLaughlin a second stint in the game and then leaving him out there for like 6 straight minutes was probably the single biggest reason for the loss.

McLaughlin was absolutely awful. Couldn’t hit a shot. Allowed the Lakers to clog the lane. Got roasted on defense. Even turned the ball over. He was a negative everywhere.

Subbing in NAW finally staunched the bleeding, but it was too late.

  17. HackWaters

Flu hit us at the absolute worst time. So frustrating.

  18. It was an awful performance, just hope everyone gets better quick

  19. EsotericPotato

If half the team is sick/injured/out of shape I would straight up rather just forfeit a game like tonight than play it.

There were about three guys that came to play tonight. If they’d played like they did Wednesday they’d have easily won.

  20. takeitsleazy316

Team looked exhausted. Not good. They need a damn rest but it just keeps going. This loss definitely has made me give up on the 6th seed dream. But let’s keep powering

  21. M1THRANDlR

I guess just hope Gobert didn’t hurt his knee too bad

  22. Bummed, but that was a destined loss. Flu team and naz down. They were gassed after the first half. No excuse though, you’re on the court you play hard. That third quarter 3 heave session was gross af. Needed a hot game from someone

  23. Shiro_yaksha

Great first half, especially from Mike, Gobert and Mcdaniels. the team crumbled in the 2nd half somehow. Ant and mclaughlin were awfull

  24. Sam7sung

We got sick at the worst time of the season. Legs were gone in the second half and we couldn’t play well enough offensively once they took the lead

  25. JMac isn’t an NBA caliber player. Him bricking like 4 shots in a row when the Lakers started cooking basically ended the game.

  26. ConcernReasonable200

That flu fucking them up I can’t even lie

  27. Whole-Distance-8688

3rd Quarter’s offense without Conley-Gobert(who played perfect in 1st half) was absolutely terrible. Conley had only 1 shoot in 3Q, and Ant-Jaden had too many bad-decision shots. it was really terrible quarter.

  28. samboegeman88

People blaming Towns are idiots. Jmac, Prince, and Edwards were laughably bad.

  29. Lol I see the miserable doomers are coming back out of the woodwork. Y’all need to get a life and/or a hobby. Or pick a new team to be a fan of. I’m really fucking tired of all of you.

  30. That 3rd quarter was killer. Hoping the reason they made all those dumb plays was because of the flu, because if it isn’t, that’s a big problem.

Win out the rest of the regular season and take it to whoever we face after.

  31. Don’t want to hear anything about the refs tonight. I do, however, want to hear about how the NBA slipped our boys the flu before the most crucial week(s) of the season. #bilogicalgamefixing

  32. Orangucantankerous

Without Naz there just isn’t that spark coming off the bench.

We are going to need to figure out who can fill that role because it’s not JMac.

It was pitiful watching Davis rack up points in the paint vs KAT.

  33. HairyDowntown

Hard to get too upset by this one. You can clearly see that a lot of guys don’t have their legs under them. Flat shots, no attacking, not getting on the floor after loose balls, etc.

These turnover stretches HAVE to stop though. We are going to get trounced in the first round if we keep beating ourselves.

Slow the game down and run some actual plays, for the love of everything holy. You can’t just fucking freewheel your offense for long stretches when guys are making mistake after mistake.

  34. Soviet_Sharpshooter

KAT was throwing up some garbage on some of those possessions

  35. ChbbyKttns

This was my annual in person game and man I have to say the crowd was extremely disappointing. Most of the crowd felt like lakers fans and majority of the Wolves fans in my section never bothered to cheer or even pay attention to the game.

  36. FreshStartWolves

Rudy is the key to this offense.. when he’s rolling the team thrives. Teams have been doing a good job on him in the second half and it bogs down our offense

  37. notbuaydubz

I guess the last thing I’ll say about that game is the Lakers 24-2 run was some Dario Argento shit. It’d be super cool if I never have to see anything like that ever again.

  38. Orangucantankerous

Conley and Gobert the only ones with positive +/-

  39. blocking_butterfly

In the 16 minutes Gobert sat we had 0 defense and 0 rebounding

  40. Intelligent_Pain_174

Some people hate +/- but the Wolves were positive +/- when Gobert and Conley were on the court and got outscored by about 20 when they weren’t on the court. Seems about right.
