I love coach and i hope he is here for a long time but the two things that drive me NUTS are 1 why he always just uses obi on the 3 point line.. yea he should shoot some and he does make them but he can be very good in the paint.. remember when we saw him when he got a lot of playing time last year??? And ppl compared him to stat and his type of game but we just using him on the 3 point line, i dont get it… and then the other thing is they gotta get grimes more touches.. he will be balling out some games and then he wont get the ball back for awhile and its not just his shooting that he is good at but he is a great play maker/passer and good at driving to the hoop.. those 2 things really gotta get fixed and drive me crazy

Obi is clearly holding back and being cautious with his words…this is three years worth of frustration of being limited by the coach and watching new comers join he team and immediately get more playing time than him without earning it. He is a good person and teammate because as a Lottery pick and former College player of the year, i don't know too many players that would take the kind of unfair treatment by their coach and not blow up and complain. Much respect to Obi!

I can't stand Randle for his lack of effort on defense. He sucks at defending and lets pretty much anyone get passed him. Like he really really sucks at defense.
His lack of team ball. The ball moves around the floor more when he's off the floor. His lack of IQ and stupid turnovers he makes all the time in the 4th quarter. He's not clutch. Hes one of the worst clutch players in the NBA today. He averages 3 turnovers per game. Those turnovers mostly come in the 4th quarter during the last few minutes when the game is on the line. Occasionally he will give you 4 to 5 turnovers.
His offense is decent. Randle is not a scrub. his offense is his strength but it can be better. If he learns to go to his right more often he will be harder to stop. Playoff Randle is too predictable because he depends on driving and always going left. You can call what Randle is gonna do before Randle even does it. Take away his left and he's shut down. He's gotta pass the ball the more because he's gonna get double teamed especially in the playoffs. He would be ungaurdable if he worked on his mid range.
Until then Randle will be a decent offensive player to me. Randle gets a 6.5 out of ten from me. That's me being nice when Randle drives me insane with his playmaking alot of times.
Obi feels like he should gave a bigger role. But why? How? He has shown minimal improvement since entering the league. He did not capitalize on the good stretch of games he had to end last season.
Coach thibs need to go even with Julius out he stil hating on obi, I pray obi don't get fed up n leave I rather Tom n Julius leave there's obviously favoritism going on BTW Tom n Julius

Management was completely right to build from the bottom, have patience and let this young core grow together. The way all great teams should be built. No more massive contracts for just one guy who basically was at the end of their best years.
Melo, Starbury, Curry, etc. etc. etc. etc. all failures to even bring a .500 team! It's the one reason why I balked at the massive contract Brunson got to begin with. Luckily he's shined and has proven to be worth it. We got LUCKY!
You all didn't believe in our young guys last year or the beginning of the year this year but now your all looking at them as gold because all of this talent that I started pushing for fans to support two years ago, and now they are blossoming. You didn't believe in Randle's fearlessness as a player. And now Barrett is another one who is on the edge of maturing. A lot of you don't even realize he's still only 22 years old.
Most college players are just now graduating from college at that age. He shows promise, already has four years of NBA experience under his belt, but lacked maturity. I believe next year is showtime for Barrett. He should be putting up some solid numbers consistently next season.
Even Grimes is starting to impress me! You all wanted to trade half of our future away for Donavan Mitchell, who the Knicks just beat!
This is how you build winners folks. From youth! I been saying it the previous 21 years, having been following this sport for 43 years now, and now you can all finally see it happening for yourselves.
Now does this mean automatic championship? NO! It doesn't. BUT what it does mean is that when you have consistent winning teams then there is always the chance of winning the whole thing! Right now we have a chance of hanging with the top crop in the playoffs and if we lose? It's all the more reason these guy have to prove to get better. You'll see.
We really have to do something about the fast break opportunities.. when he have a 3 on 1 fastbreak it's an absolute nightmare, it's been bad all year, we gotta shore this up. We struggle making the easy points. Free throws and fastbreaks.
Obi don’t take your frustrations over Thibs out on RJ. Stop bitching if you don’t get every lob throw. Sometimes a teammate doesn’t feel comfortable with the timing. You’re not entitled to every lob pass.
Jalen Black Hole Brunson. He is a past last point guard. He has helped the Knicks to win most of their games. He has to give the ball to RJ more because CT has reduced RJ minutes and will need J Brun to help him to score at least 20 points per night.
Obi can easily average 20+ pts a night. He just doesn’t get any plays written for him and the coach stays making sure he doesn’t get minutes. I know obi would flourish somewhere else, but NY his home and 19 min is just disrespect.
