I’m glad he was able to come back after his heart scare and retire on his own terms. Always hate to see a guy being force to retire off of health

Wish it would’ve worked out. Fuck ZaZa

Oh shit. I thought he retired like 2 years ago.

The biggest star we’ve ever gotten (might ever get) in free agency. A real shame we couldn’t win a championship with him. That year with the big 3 in tow should’ve been the year. If only we could’ve gotten past OKC, TD21 could’ve gotten number 6

He was as good as he could ever be on the spurs and so many fans didn’t appreciate. Total stud 👍🏼

I will never forget the feeling of him choosing San Antonio over the suns and lakers.

When it worked it was was awesome when it didn’t it was necessarily his fault and you can tell he tried his best.

    Portland better retire his number.

If kawhi never went down and spurs ended up winning it that year, the talks of LaMarcus would be so much different

  8. Hats off to him for taking a chance on San Antonio when someone of his caliber would not in todays game.

I still have his spurs jersey Going to wear it proudly. Wish he did win a ring with us. LA12

  10. I will miss him and not many tall and Big Mid Range PF are left in the NBA

I ended up liking Aldridge so much mlee than I thought I would when we initially signed him.

His run in 2018 when Kawhi was out and being weird made me a fan for life, he was hard carrying us and it felt like he was getting 40 every other game for a bit

A shame he never got a ring, but not everyone does. He absolutely balled out for us and a couple of those teams were legit title contenders. His alpha season with Kawhi holding out showed so much heart and All-Star level greatness.

He’ll always be a Blazer, but he has some legit legendary moments in Spurs lore. Will always love LMA.

One of the best big man mid range killers. Proud of him and what he did here.

  14. He played well for us and had a great career.
