9th is as low as we can go if we lost 6 straight assuming all other teams win at the same rate for their remaining games…sort of
Obviously this isn’t perfect because there’s only 5-7 games left for each team. More importantly, we can jump up to anywhere in the Top 4 but at 9th, we have a not insignificant chance to drop to 10th or even lower. There’s a (admittedly hilarious) scenario where enough teams win the lottery that are below the Raptors and thus push them to 13th in the draft

I find it funny how people just assume drafting a future star from the 10 spot is a forgone conclusion, but drafting 13 is the end of the franchise

if portland gets a top 2 pick, we should try to trade pascal + whatever for it and enter our rebuilding phase.

Draft a future star and then what? Optimistically hope they can be the championship #1 option ppl keep dreaming about or bash them the moment they don’t live up to that expectation and whine about tanking again.
