Hate to ruin your fantasies, but the Mavs need to trade Luka and Kyrie. Luka and Kyrie can't keep up with the pace of the game anymore. The game is too fast for both of them. I know a lot of us love Luka, but if you watch him a lot you will realize he is just too slow on the court and he does too many layups at the end of close games when the Mavs need threes to stay in the game. The Mavs need to rebuild the roster at this point.

Our FG% was higher than theirs that means we had better defense than they did. The problem was they had more possessions and significantly more FT attempts. More possessions because of 10 offensive rebounds versus just 1 for us. And 29 FT attempts vs. 16 for us. We need rebounding and we need to be able to defend without fouling.

if that's what it iscome at the expense of all his teammates?Since the trade, Luka has a -31 rating and Kyrie has a +94 rating.
When they play together, Luka has a -19 rating and Kyrie has a +72 rating.
Defense is clearly the issue here since they're both insanely efficient on offense. Luka complains to the refs every chance he gets during live play and doesn't hustle back on defense half the time. Kyrie actually plays defense and doesn't complain during live play.
We need a coach that actually holds Luka accountable.

What happened to JaVale? He was legit good in Phoenix. Great of the bench, and even in games when Ayton was out and McGee had to start he was not a liablility. People may say it was because CP3 enabled him but isnt Luka supposed to be a great playmaker too?
Lets talk draft.. if Mavs have luck to get top 10 pick… also if they can trade somehow to get one more top 20 pick they can make some great picks. There are many solid F PF in draft like Kris Murray, Jarace Walker, Dariq Whitehead, Dillon Mitchell,.. All 6-7 to 6-9 and athletic. With two like this in team that will play defence and rebound and if they get one solid C in free transfer this team can be title contender…

Everyone wants to blame Jason kidd, Powell, Wood, and now its team chemistry. When really it's nobody's fault but the front office. The team is terrible inside, they need a big man. That's it! Mark Cuban and the front office couldnt get them one. An I hate that they're probably going to ship kyrie out like it's his fault.
When Mavs win Luka carried the team and gets all the credit last year with Jalen brunson who's a leader of a playoff team averaging 24 and they played defense which wasn't Lukas doing when Mavs lose Luka get no blame
Luka had game high points and rebounds and team high assists. Luka and Tim were playing their heart out but the rest of the team just quit. It is time to change the direction of this team beginning with a new head coach. We have not just taken a step backwards but we collapsed as a team.
