My only problems with the lottery system is that it just doesn’t work like you wish to always. Bobcats put the worst statistical season in the history of the league, yet they failed to bag Anthony Davis. I will be praying to Gods to send Wemby to Spurs but goddamn if this shit doesn’t make me nervous.

We have done what we needed to to give us the best possible chance to draft the most tantalizing NBA prospect since LeBron. Chalk this season up to a rousing success as we have seen our young guys grow and still kept to the plan. Love what I have seen from Sochan, Keldon, and Devin even if the latter was held out for so long.
Always good to tell myself that the most important word here is “lottery.” Winning the lottery is nigh impossible and the Spurs have done it twice. This doesn’t just mean getting the number 1 pick, but that that pick would turn into a generational star. A third time would be astronomical, but at least we are in the best position to do so now.
We will get someone great no matter what. The best I can do is just hope for the absolute best and cross my fingers which is what you do with every lottery.
