It’s time to move on from KAT, after his comments last game about being a leader, then legit dips out after being a non factor against a bunch of dudes on 10 day contracts 😑

He’s always been a losing player. Kirk Cousins with a tan

I’m generally optimistic in that players take time to heal and teams take time to gel, but this is some bullshit that can divide a team. You can’t be a supermax guy and let the other guys on the team speak to the media. To me, this is worse than the loss itself.

This and Finch saying someone was “in their feelings” is pretty damning.
I’m assuming Karl’s little pep talk didn’t go very well.
XAgentNovemberX
He didn’t because it was fucking embarrassing and he knew the first questions was gonna be about what he said after last game… which I’m sure wasn’t much. This isn’t leadership though… a leader comes out and takes responsibility when they’re a massive liability.

I’m sad today after this game. I get there are probably some sort of reasonable excuses that he couldn’t stay in game shape with his injury also. I just feel like today is the day I’m actually coming to the realization that KAT may not be what our franchise needs, and that the best course of action is trading for the best assets that we can. That fucking sucks because I’ve cheered for KAT since he came into the league, and genuinely had such high hopes for him and what he could do for our long suffering franchise. He seems like a good dude off the court too. I just don’t know if he will ever be able to understand the game, take enough accountability and care to really be there for our team when we need it. I’m venting here, and I hope I’m wrong. Fuck 2:30pm games.

Maybe he didn’t like how the team responded to his attempt at leadership.

He dipped cause he knew the media was gonna ask him about what he said in his “pep talk” lmaoooo

It’s complete bullshit after his postgame comments from last game

Officials took him out of the game, be he’s gotta learn how to not foul.

Did anyone listen to the Rudy interview? I swear Ant is shit talking Kat in the background the beginning. Something about going right into the locker room and ignoring him, then not having 3 minutes for the media.
waitforit1211
I just want to know where all the KAT backers are now? Still in the same boat of trading him this off-season. He isn’t a winner and isn’t a team leader. If your a supermax guy you can’t have games like this. 3 fucking shots? Man up

But please god don’t swap Kat for Kyrie (i take consolation today in Mavs pooping the bed bigger)

This isn’t a good look but I knew the first bad game KAT had after literally winning us the GS game and being great in the Atlanta game all the haters would ask to trade him. Let’s just forget he had the flu and could of just felt like complete utter shit and wanted to go home and rest, yea let’s bury the guy for being in foul trouble like a bunch of fairweather fans.
Twolves2394
This is a team loss. KAT has won us games on our recent streak. There’s no reason we should have lost this game but to solely blame KAT just doesn’t make sense.
Cgmadman
I’m done defending him. Trade is necessary.
tempraman
it’s clear that he’s learned nothing being out. missing shots being rusty is understandable, his other issues are still there

KAT isn’t the first super-talented athlete that didn’t have the personality or mental makeup to reach his potential and to lead a team to glory. And he won’t be the last.
It sucks that it’s him, and it sucks that it’s us, but there’s no use denying it any longer.
