Unfortunately, they haven't been a really good rebounding team without Adams. The slide you mentioned began when Adams got injured and they went from 2nd best (I think) to down in the 20-somethings in rebounding. In an underrated team, Adams is a hugely underrated player. He does so much that just doesn't show up on a stats sheet. He makes scoring so much easier for his teammates. It is a huge credit to the team that they have adjusted and are consistently winning again. But if Adams can get back for the finals then yeah, I think they have a serious chance at making a deep playoff run.

I think the grizzlies are definitely top contenders going into the playoffs honestly if you don’t like the grizzlies your a hater simple, the team as a whole is wild, even with the drama that went on the grizzlies still play good offensively and defensively without Ja that let’s you know they are a threat but if we’re talking abt teams in the west that are big contenders I’ll say the Nuggets and The Kings
People hating on this team and calling them thugs or dirty only have a case for Dillon… and he’s a stand up guy off the court. Aside from Ja’s recent struggle every player on the roster is a high character human. Only outsiders would think they’re unlike-able. Steven Adams, JJJ, Bane, Tyus, Clarke, Konchar, Tillman, Konchar, Roddy, Kennard, Ziaire Aldama and more… all these guys are great guys. Don’t let Dillons competitive nature blur your vision folks. Media smear campaign this season has been overblown.

I’ve been saying this but nobody listens. As a Ja Morant fan and as a Grizzlies fan.. these boys are dangerous and Taylor Jenkins is a damn good coach. Most playoff series come down to who can make better adjustments and I feel like this team can do that and make a deep run. Gonna be fun to watch for sure.

All depends on Steven Adam's health and how good of bball shape he is coming back. The amount on 2nd opportunities he creates w OReb is instrumental to their success. In the playoffs with half court off being so important, the work he does to facilitate out of the high post is crucial as well. Hope he's back sooner than later. Get some warm up games under his belt
