Knicks defense looks awful — they gave up 140 points to Minnesota and 127 points to Miami — come on Thibs what is going on? And the Knicks took half their total shots from the 3 point arc — that is stupid losing basketball — the defense is a disgrace, better fix it or one and done first round
Thibs rotation be getting me mad sometimes McBride should have been playing his defense would have made a difference and the refs in this game were terrible

I think they are tired the 9 man rotation isn’t always going to work come playoff time it’s going to bite us in the butt and we’re going to be watching “a lot of film” if you notice everytime they play really good teams and beat them (Boston, Denver) the starters and good players are drained the next two games 9 man rotation and starters are burnt out

First…our defense was horrible…But
The League should take a look at how this game was officiated from the TIP-OFF. There were blatant FOULS committed against the KNICKS without a whistle blown, it didn't help that Thibs decided not to challenge any of them. When Kevin Love clothes lined IHART… Offensive FOUL? When HERRO grabbed MITCH by his waist and flipped him to the floor and almost injured Mitch… FOUL on KNICKS?? Brunson was always in position to take a foul but these Referees calling it all night the other way….WTF???🗽

Just commit to the double on the pick and roll. Don't show them back down. Your creating seams and wide open 3s. Either stay man to man or double. Don't show double and hedge. No bueno!
Plus too much one on one on offense they wait until you put in on the floor then come with the double and your dribbling right int the trap. Realize that it's a delayed blitz and adjust your spacing. No bueno thibs!
Randle's lack of accountability on defense is disgusting and even with a guy saying "we" in an interview post game, is fine to not blame other teammates, he needs to know that he's to blame for a lot of the defensive inconsistencies that stems from this team lack of defensive intensity and aggressiveness. Multiple 3s and jumpers of pick and pops that Randle doesn't like jumping up over to contest and we lose.
Anyone who’s watched the Knicks over the years knew that 9 game win streak wouldn’t mean that they suddenly became elite. They are seriously close to falling to 7th place if they don’t distance themselves from Miami & the Nets. Never mind home court in the 1st round. I don’t think they can beat the Cavs at this point even with.

Might as well have a robot coach this team. Same rotation every night despite the situation less foul trouble or injury. Someone needs to tell Tom he can actually play JB without Randle or vice versa or that McBride can play instead of IQ when he's off. Or if you need a 3 Fournier is on the team

Julius looks like the most tired man in America 😂. Until they solve how many 3’s they convert to how many they get hit with, they won’t be a full beast mode team. You need 1 or 2 40% from 3 guys in that lineup
