Adam Armbrecht is in for the postgame reaction as the Nets get their third straight win, this time at home over the visiting Utah Jazz.
Mikal Brodges, Spencer Dimnwiddie and Cam Johnson all took their turns attacking at the basket which paid dividends at the free throw line.
I’m a game where the three point shot was not falling, lock down defense and smart team basketball put the Nets in a spot to secure the win.

Sheesh!!! Brooklyn having a twenty point lead and finishing the game up by 1 isn't what you want but Brooklyn got the WIN!
For three quarters the starting unit continued their chemistry uprise. Mikal Bridges didn't have his best scoring game but still dropped 30 points 🔥. Cam Johnson continued to show his offensive versatility, Dorian Finney Smith defense was big again, Spencer dinwiddie did well as a floor general and got a lot of players involved with some good assists and Nic Claxton continued his defensive versatility and got some important buckets as well.
Not the way Brooklyn wanted to win but this puts them one step closer to the playoffs with the Timberwolves up next. Let's go 🔥🔥🔥🔥..
The starting core has really found their flow through different stretches and the defense still has even more room to get better….
Why would anyone come to the conclusion that the Nets should have blown the Jazz out? I think it shouldn't have been any more or less than what it turned out to be. Anybody that could predict how these games turn out, in advance, could and would get rich from gambling on sports.
Mikal "Brooklyn" Bridges even when he's not scoring at his new normal clip still drops 30 points 🔥.
Cam Johnson meanwhile keeps unleashing his versatile assertive offense and takes some big bumps and just keeps getting back up.
The Twins have really embraced Brooklyn and the fans. They have played their buts off to help Brooklyn develop their new team and they are definitely showing why they are the future of the Brooklyn Nets…. 🔥
For anyone that want to talk about how "frustrating" it was for JV to bring the starters back in for the Nets to win the game, I'll say it would've been frustrating to lose the game. JV did what he had to do to win the game should be commendable.
@Adam Spencer Dinwiddie scored 17 points, not 7 points.
Dinwiddie had 12 assists. Only one other player had 4 assists. (O'Neale) Bridges was the receiver of a lot of Dinwiddie's assists.
That was a trash ending on the Nets part, that's the second time of recent they crumbled late in a game, if they wanna be a great team, this is unacceptable
