Imo the Heat would be an ideal landing spot for both parties. Really don’t see much downside
As a heat fan, I would say the reason they've struggled is yes the 3 point shooting is down which is a big part of it. I also think defensively they can't compete because they went too small with Caleb Martin being the 4. I like Caleb Martin a lot but he is more of a 2 or a 3 and they are abused on the offensive glass and in the paint. Thats the reason if they don't score 110+ points they usually lose when typically the Heat are a very good defensive team. You can't have Herro, Martin, Lowry or Vincent, Bam, and Butler as a starting 5. It's just too small a lineup, especially when Herro is consistently getting abused down low.

As a Heat fan, I watch Jimmy fill 25+ pts a game, most games, carrying the Heat more nites-and in crunch time in particular. Obviously, I'm a big fan. but for him to be an all
star you have to get rid of an all star. And, I am not sure-with the Heat's performance this year (although 3 pt shooting is to blame more than anything, especially vs last year)that including Butler is really valid.I appreciate the push for Jimmy but no. It’s too crowded and other players are more deserving, imo
