Somehow after last night’s game embiids odds went up

he missed a bunch of games too. only thing that matters is the other mvp this year

Jokic gets guard stats because his guards suck. He is one of the worst players on defense in the league. Everyone knows the Nuggets are going nowhere in the playoffs.

Embiid is a whiny flopper who looks like shit against good centers. He skips games that would make him look bad.

Giannis can do it all, keeps improving, and is on the best team so he has to compete for stats with his teammates.

At this point the MVP is a consolation prize for everyone else in the league because Giannis should win it every year.

  4. Someone should make a highlight video of Giannis’ passing this year. He’s always had some good dimes here and there but this year I’ve been noticing them a lot more. Even last nice he had two great looking drive and kick-outs

  5. They are not wrong 🤷🏾‍♂️

If voter fatigue = punishment, then yes. Because that’s all this is. The League and the Media have been punishing the Bucks and Giannis ever since he defied their wishes to jump ship. If the Bucks, having the best record in the league 3 out of 5 seasons, were in LA, NY/BKLN, Miami, Chicago, Dallas, or the Bay Area, they would be one of the most talked about subjects in the NBA.

Once again, I remind people, that ESPN wasn’t harping on Giannis’ lack of consistency at the line or from three until he signed his supermax. Then it became a narrative to downplay his achievements. Hell, they basically started saying Khris was the real star of the team, now it’s been Jrue lately. They also been trying to say Giannis is actually on a superteam like LeBron or KD. It’s entirely bullshit.

If Giannis goes to one of their preferred markets, you would have heard very little about his ‘woes’ from three or at the line. He would be getting promoted big time because of his fun personality and hardworking, humble nature. Those quotes he had about thinking about the wrong things holding you back would have been all over the shows. But he stayed with Milwaukee, so they aren’t.

I think Giannis chances closed when we got blown out from the Celtics. It’s been a two man race. If Giannis goes out and destroys the celts, then the 6ers and finishes the season on his 35/10/6 he could have won

The great thing about Giannis is that he says it’s an honor to be in the conversation and that he’s happy to have won it in the past. I have absolutely no doubt he’s sincere about that too. On the other said you have a ton of guys over the years lobbying for it. Harden has ads taken out, LeBron bitches when he doesn’t win, and Embiid practically starting the MVP chant for himself. Giannis just goes out, dominates, has fun, and makes the guys lobbying for MVP look silly.

Meaningless chat to fill empty space. MVP Awards are cool and sure if Giannis gets one, great. If not, whatever.

It might matter in 50 years when people have silly GOAT arguments and bring up the fact that Giannis only got 5 MVPs in his career while LeBron James III got 7. But for now, whatever.

Everybody knows that if there was a draft where everybody was eligible, Giannis would be the #1 pick by at least 7/10 GMs.

I remember these grumblings about jordan back in the 90s. The voters get finicky about voting for the same person year after year

It’s the nba getting big 💰💰 from Kia and that won’t fly with what’s going on in Milwaukee currently lol
