  1. Looking at defense stats. Most teams defense are terrible this year tho. Ffs after Cleveland and Miami. Everyone else haven't been even good on defense.

  2. Kings could confidently (4-1) beat the Lakers, Thunder, Mav's, Timberwolves, and Pelicans. I really think they could handle (4-2/3) the Clippers with George and even the Suns as I'm not sold on chemistry, lack of depth, and rapidly aging Chris Paul (no offense) . The three strongest teams are the Nuggets and Memphis followed by GSW because of their experience as well as the fact they have a 71.6% win pct in the playoffs over the last decade (in otherwords some guys turn it on in the bright lights).

  3. I feel like the Kings choking idea is based on the idea that these guys are gonna stop hitting shots, and I’m not so sure that’s gonna happen fr

  4. That the Mavericks still have better odds to win the Western Conference than the Kings is exhibit A for the lack of respect Sacramento's receiving. But I do think O'Connor is being fair in his assessment of the Kings in this video.

  5. Kings spent their history being a shit organization. They had 1 great season and 3 very good seasons. Thats it.

  6. I like the core they have. They could be a championship team in the coming years if they add above average defenders to the team. I’m not ready to count them out this year though. Their offense is less reliant on jumpshots than some of those other teams.

  7. National Media disrespects their playoff inexperience and D. Kings can beat the Warriors and the Lakers

  8. Nobody is saying they want the 6th seed. That’s implied, all teams would like the 6th seed over play in spot. They are saying they want the kings matchup specifically.. what a dumb argument

  9. Hold up! Enough respect? Wasn't the Ringer one of the ultimate Kings hater? Making fun of them for years and now you guys are talking about respecting the Kings? Lmao! What a bunch of Bandwagons. LIGHT THE BEAM on these Haters trying to Bandwagon the Kings success!

  10. The Kings better hope if they want to advance past the first round of the playoffs that the Warriors are not their opponent…there is NO WAY IN HELL the NBA is going to allow the Kings, with no marketable stars to beat the Warriors, with the current NBA darling Curry to lose in the first round…the NBA is way to smart to let that happen…the Warriors, short any kind of major injuries to their stars are going to win the first round playoff series, 100 percent.
I'm going to mortgage my house, and put it all on Golden State to beat whoever they play in the first round…
I guarantee the Warriors will advance at least to the second round…

  11. I’m a Kings fan past 22 years and this season has been a great ride so far and I watched maybe 50 games…but… just watching basketball played on one side – I.e. the offensive side – and winning purely with offence, is actually not as enjoyable as it might sound, for me anyway.

Yes, winning is awesome, but exchanging buckets for the majority of game thanks to 25th ranked defence (I think since January it was actually even WORSE than that), just makes me shake my head.

I’m trying to fully embrace this story like every other Kings fan but in the back if my mind is the same confusion as the rest of the fans and pundits out there…that it’s not legit, but also it IS legit because it’s happened!!!

My expectations are not too high or low for playoffs – I’m just gonna take it one bucket at a time

  12. dude on the right is talking out of his ass… bro of course no team wants to have an elimination game and would prefer a guaranteed playoff spot.. doesn't matter who's the 3rd seed

  13. People are saying they would rather be the 6 seed then the 4 or 5 that's what people are arguing not the 7 vs 6 wtf was this conversation
