De’Aaron Fox on suffering a second straight loss on the home court with 142-134 OT loss to Spurs

Following the Kings 142-134 loss to the Spurs on Sunday, Kings point guard De’Aaron Fox talks about dropping the team’s first overtime contest of the season, the many issues plaguing his team against a San Antonio team that capitalized on the mistakes despite being shorthanded and Sacramento’s lack of acceptable defensive effort.

  1. Glad Fox is healthy. Credit the Spurs for giving the Kings all they can handle. They won. It happens. This team does respond after bad loss. Home losses are not too devastating for the Kings. Kings are 2nd best road record in the NBA. They can do it. Forget about what happened tonight, learn the mistake and when it comes to playoffs, gotta give an A game. Vlade said, don't go too high or low.

  2. Fox needs to get more serious then he is. I don't like that your team leader just laughs like "Oh well"…. I Luv the Kings, but I just want to see them be more concerned than what they are, in things that need to be corrected.

  3. I just don't think there is enough pride to defend home court yet. This is all new to most of the team. That is my theory.

  4. he's correct about getting a bad loss out of the system now. the best motivation is embarrassment. i'd rather them have this game now, against a spurs team that hasn't had many chances to celebrate this year, than against the clippers or the warriors round one of the playoffs.

  5. No defense equals first round exit. Hopefully they are starting to realize they have to play both sides for 48 minutes.
