Boomer's dislike of Randle is and has been soooo obvious. And always feels like an underlined personal thing. Julius is their best player. Stop it!
I wish people wouldn't keep using the Atlanta series two years ago as an excuse to say "this is who Julius is." Team was different, they didn't have a point guard other then Derrick Rose who's ancient, and everyone was inexperienced including Julius. Team definitely needs Julius if they want to win a playoff series. He's an All Star and is probably gonna make another All NBA team.

Interesting when people who know NOTHING about basketball talk about basketball 🤣🤣🤣. So the Knicks has had 9 and 8 games winning streak, this season with Randle being the cornerstone. Now we beat Houston, Washington and Cleveland with him out and all of a sudden that makes the team better??? We beat Boston without Brunson does that mean we don’t need him? 🙄🙄
Any1 who thinks the knicks are going anywhere w.o julius Randle is a joke and not to be taken seriously. Julius is either the teams 1st or 2nd best player and is the most unguardable player they have on the entire team. Bcuz a team wins a couple games w.o a player doesn't mean they're better. Brunson gets doubled and trapped alot today bcuz theres no julius case on point last night. Did any of u catch how they was blitzing brunson to get the ball out his hands nd trapping him. With julius on the court u cant do that cuz julius also demands a double team. U cant double everybody. W.o JR u gotta rely on grimes nd iq nd rj and mitch nd hart more than u typically would. I've BEEN saying that they're a better team without Julius attitude and toxicity and the young guys are proving it. People act like we can't win without Randle's 25pts and 10 rebounds a game. Patrick Ewing gave us that for YEARS – and YET the minute he was out of the picture in '99 we made the Finals, even though we lost to the Spurs. I'm telling you guys, Randle and Thibodeaux are holding this team back. Knicks fans are too enamored with big stats and big star players. If we don't make it past the first round then they need to bring Mark Jackson home and give him the keys to the team. He won't put up with Randle's mess.

Last April when Julius went down Obi Toppin averaged 27 points and 6 boards and shot 46% from the three. Obi cuts loose when he doesn't have to worry about Thibs yanking him over one mistake. Again if we don't make it past the first round I would deal Julius in the offseason while his value is high. Especially if Zion or Luka request a trade from their teams.
