[Johnson] Ty Jerome: “Once Andre got hurt and Wiggs was kind of not here, writing was kind of on the wall. I kind of let my agents and the FO communicate more, and they’re very great at communicating with me…There were zero hard feelings. I have zero animosity towards [Lamb], FO, coaching staff”

He is a smart man. He will very likely be in a 15-man NBA roster next season with the Warriors or another team.

Can we for the love of Christ take out Rollins and sign Jerome next season.

I feel like Rollins is an investment that is not gonna pay off for 2 more years minimum and we don’t have that kind of time anymore.

Jerome would be a perfect stable third string/backup PG for us. He also allows JP the flexibility to play SG.

He’s a bigger man than me. Years ago some brown noser at work got a promotion over me. I still hate him today.

Really keeping my fingers crossed the FO signs both Lamb and Jerome to be our 11-12 guys on the fifteen man roster next year. That would speak very highly of our 1-10 guys and leave room for PBJ, Rollins (I guess) and hopefully a rookie PF-C.

I hope we can keep him for next season. He’s a great 3rd guard off the bench

Both of these dudes should be in playing in china

re: the second section of NokCha_’s post (for some reason, we can’t reply to mod/stickied comments? seems to disappear if we try…) —

I like keep tabs on which players use which agents (like GP2 sharing Dame’s agent for example 😒…), and I thought it was interesting that Jerome and Kerr have the same agent (Bartelstein).

You can sort of see the career trajectory parallels, as far as not very athletic journeymen guards looking for the right landing spot, and understanding that the coach wants them to play smart and take care of the ball.

Seems like a cool dude, we should def invite him to the ring ceremony

Solid guy. If DDV walks, he may be an option.

  10. Standup guy because lol I have hard feelings on your behalf Ty. Also that so many guys on the fringe of the roster (like GPII last year) come into Golden State and end up feeling the most at home there is such a testament to the organization and how they do things. I’d love to hear more former Warriors journeymen perspectives of what their experience with the Warriors was like vs. the other organizations they played with.

I actually was fond of Jerome on the team despite our struggles.

Wait, did something happen with Ty Jerome? What happened?

I liked Ty Jerome ever since that post asking why he looked shorter than Curry and the answer was that he had a giant head.
