[Iko] If the Rockets are as serious about returning to title contention as they say, they’ll give Silas the opportunity to prove himself worthy of a long-term investment — especially on a veteran-led team — but they’re also going to do their due diligence on the market, especially with notable names
The whispers surrounding Stephen Silas’ uncertain future in Houston refuse to die down.
And Nick Nurse, who has ties to the Rockets, could be available this offseason.@KellyIko shares his read on the situation: https://t.co/kZ8suqMdwu pic.twitter.com/yQ28jk5HlL

The 3 names listed on the article that the Rockets are researching are Nick Nurse, Ime Udoka, and Frank Vogel
I’d agree if Ime Udoka and Nick Nurse weren’t available
We’re not getting rid of Silas are we
Prove himself worthy? I guess the last 3 years being the worst team the first 2 years & 2nd worst (likely) team this year wasn’t enough? 🤔
Damn looks like [your boy](https://www.reddit.com/r/rockets/comments/10iq437/just_something_to_keep_in_mind_unfortunately/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=1&utm_term=1) might be right again
But yeah supposedly idk what I’m talking about. Also can’t help but feel Abdelfattah deserves a shot.
Please god no, I can’t endure anymore of this god awful coach
Lololol no. Silas is a bad coach.
Vogel or Nurse. Hire one of them if available.
Heck no get Silas outta here pronto
I’m at the point where if one of these great coaches comes up (don’t know enough about the Udoka situation so maybe not him depending on what happened) and is available then I want him.
But some people were talking about just firing him no matter who we get. First, even though he hasn’t looked great, us tanking had to hold him back to some extent, also Fertitta is cheap and if we give a contract out to a mid coach and it’s not working I feel he’d hold out to long before making the decision to make a change.
