Kevin Durant could be the first player in NBA History to average 55/40/90 splits, and he’s doing so on nearly 30 PPG

We all know Kevin Durant is good, but is this geniunely one of the best shooting seasons of all time? On the top of my head 2016 Curry is the only season that’s clearly ahead, but I could be forgetting a few.

He’s also a whopping 19-1 in his last 20 games.

His splits are amazing but in terms of where his season ranks historically, the fact he’s only played 45 games has to be considered.

The MVP was his lose but once again he couldn’t stay healthy

  3. Ok_Lobster_3166

Curry did it on 50/45/90 in 2016

45% from 3 on 11.2 attempts is downright ABSURD

19-1? Nvm I won’t wanna play them anymore in the first round lmao

  5. Round_Clerk_6409

He’s played like half the season. Does that not matter?
Yeah it’s easier to be more efficient when you’re doing so in a smaller timeframe and more rest.

It’s almost like he’s fucking awesome.
Dude is a 7ft tall monster.

Does he even have enough wins to qualify

Monster numbers but he’s also only played like half a season

Played slightly over half a season though.

If KD stays on the Warriors, that team wins 8 championships lol he left the best possible situation and style of play for him to literally be unstoppable and Ill never understand why

Obviously, as an NBA fan, I have admired KD and always thought him to be one of the best. It’s actually insane to have him on your team and *really* watch him. Dude is absolutely incredible. I have no idea where our season ends, but this 6-0 run we’ve had with KD (no, that’s not consecutive) has been thrilling. The Suns have never had a player like that in my lifetime and I’ve been watching for over 30 years.

He’s also doing for a 40 game season

Steve Nash was 50/47/91 in 2008. Even on probably less volume that’s still more impressive to me than this kd season, and there’s probably a couple other Bird or Nash seasons you could pick (I just skimmed the 40/50/90 Wikipedia page) but crazy season from kd wish he played more

Steph shot 50-45-90 at 31PPG. I feel the 45 is more impressive than the 55%FG

Seems like every hour there’s a post about some crazy offensive stat. Yes we know offense is fucking crazy now. It just ruins the achievements

Always been better than Curry and he’s been better than Lebron since last season.
