The Brooklyn Nets playoff magic number is 2. Can they secure a spot?

The Brooklyn Nets now have a two-game magic number to secure a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. If Mikal Bridges, Spencer Dinwiddie, and company can win two games or some combination of Nets wins and Miami Heat losses, then Brooklyn will be in the playoffs as the 6th seed.

The Locked on Nets guys take a look at the final four game schedule for both teams and discuss what the different scenarios look like for each team. They look at what to expect from Brooklyn and how things should and could shake out over this final stretch.

And then they talk about the different paths that Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving have taken since being dealt at the trade deadline.

  1. I rather err on the side of being optimistic in the Nets securing a playoff slot. It feels good to believe in them.
