The Spurs just need talent upgrades throughout the rotation, regardless of position or role. More shot creation, more shooting, more rim protection, more defensive versatility. More everything.
When you get a top 3 pick you better surround him with a team or he will leave San Antonio just like everyone else.
Clan thinks Wemby is future but we still not in the play-in? Anyone remember generational talents miss the playoffs? No, otherwise they wouldnt be generational talents.
i disagree, if we get a top 3 pick in this years draft i think we are a lock for the play in. the west is not what it used to be, just being .500 if a playoff spot now and i think the Spurs are capable of doing that with a top 3 pick

Thank you for pointing out once again that Keldon is basically overachieving with his role this year. I really like him, but I also don't believe he's an untouchable asset. Most Spurs fans on our subreddit make it seem like he's a sure future fire all-star. I've never been quite that high on him. Right now, Devin and Jeremy are two building blocks that I actually really like for our future core.

Draft Wemby –> Branham, Vassell, Wemby, Sochan Barlow or trade for a C, keldon off the bench or traded for a C. That's the starting 5 you will have on opening night next year imo.
I do not see Dominic Barlow in the Spurs future. I've seen enough of him to say that. He's just too soft, doesn't have any particular skill that makes me say he's a Spurs. Doesn't rebound great, shootings iffy, doesn't play good defense and is just to skinny to play power and doesn't shoot good enough to play small.
The Spurs just need to find players who can guard all of these “ combo “ players. Position less basketball is the way of the future . Freak players with high IQ like Lebron, KD, Giannis, AD Etc all have height and shooting ability that decimate the Spurs because all we have to compete with that is Rookie Sochan and Undersized KJ . That’s why “if” we get the #1 pick we go Wemby. In the case we go #2 we get Scoot because as good as T Jones is his height and inconsistent offense makes him a liability , however his speed in presence can be made up by guarding players that are Steph Curry Esq. Offense will come to those who are willing to make the extra pass / workout in the off season and show effort and yes KJ isn’t an All Star at the moment but he has all the makings of one .
Keldon is 22/5/3 – I believe he can drop 25-30 every night if he has elite shooting around him.
Trade up in the draft for gradey dick by trading kelden Johnson and if u have to pull it off gives away 2 or 3 2nd round picks to make the trade to get a 8th pick I can see gradey dick landing around there for what he can do for us is spacial he gots a lil more to his game I other then just being the best shooter in this years draft but he also gots offense off rebound put backs he can dunk the ball back in or pass it out even tho one his weaknesses is play making but he can also do what kelden Johnson do and even better and that is attacking the rim for sure and with style but his weakest ability is defense that's the only thing that's keeping him outta the top 5 this years draft trust me he is a steal I do recommend
Keldon earned his starting spot, that is the Spurs way, he can play undersize PF, SF and sometimes PG in the last few games. Devin Vassell on the other hand is taking too much mid-range which are low percentage shots and he can only play one position, I think should be coming off from the bench since he is so fragile.
I know its a stretch but I would love the Spurs to go all in with this draft class. Maybe trade a couple of future firsts of teams we have for an additional high top 7 pick. There is a lot of talent and if we get a second guy we can get a PG and a big men to help and it will work really well in terms of timeline combining with the other talents we got (Especially if they are like 19 years old like last year)
Look y’all have tow of my favorite two young players in Sohan and the criminally slept on Vasell (spelling might be off on both lol)…Spurs are gonna be ok!
I'm Excited!! I know we really need to get a "Cornerstone" player in this draft, but I'm confident we can get him, and I'm excited about adding that one or two players to our present roster! Positionless basketball but still playing Good Fundamental TEAM basketball! Exciting Time(even though no playoffs)Go PATFO! Go Spurs!
What are your thoughts on Jalen McDaniels from the Hornets on joining the spurs?
The priority tho is point guard especially with scoot and Amen both of whom I'd take over guys like miller or Cam Whitmore
so i wont be to mad if we dont get top 1 pick or top 2 pick, this is a very good draft, first i would be very happy if we landed anywhere 1-5 pick,also this is a long process to rebuild, i do not expect us to be good next year even if we get #1, need to continue build thru draft
quick question, so if we get Scoot or Miller, hate to say this we should trade Keldon or move him to bench..need to make room for Malaki, he needs minutes cuz he is that good! Starting lineup could look like zach – C, sochan – PF, Vassell – SF, Malaki – SG, Scoot – PG, OR zach – C, sochan – PF, Miller- SF, Vassell- SG, Malaki – PG (Sochan plays the point forward?)
