    Well that sucked

    See y’all tomorrow 😈

  2. j_palazzolo

Looks like we’re a playin team, unfortunately. I just want a playoff series.

  3. BatmanHive

The only positive from tonight is Grizzlies also had to play till last min and then won, so hopefully they rest tomorrow

  4. NikoRavage

    We need Zion.

    Simple.

Oh and no more of that shit water ass no spacing lineup.

  5. causewaytoolong

We’re playing similar to the 10 game skid

    Poor off ball movement

    Ball watching on defense

    Sloppy turnovers

    Getting beat in transition

  6. Got smoked on defense and had no answer for how they were defending BI. On to the next.

  7. HyperMovie

Rough game but let’s hope tomorrow will be better. That includes a good update on Zion and a W. 🙏🙏

A tale of two coaching staffs. Kings adjusted when the Pels went on the 14-4 run, while Willie didn’t counter. In fact, he iced Dyson in favor of Naji and Josh, who were ice cold all game. I think Jax should have played over Larry, who didn’t seem to have his legs this game. What’s the point of drafting lotto picks if you are not going to develop them?

  9. SpaceAfricanJesus

I’m just remembering that thread that called out all of the doomers.

I’m not gonna be a doomer, but if you think this season is wrapped up in our favor then I got some beachfront property in Nebraska to sell you.

Win these last 3 and you’re probably still top 6.

  10. No real hustle tonight. Hopefully it was just in anticipation for tomorrow night. Tough loss but we probably needed a bit of a check going into the last few games. We’ll get the fires lit for tomorrow and hope for the best.

Edit: I know his ball IQ is questionable at times, but Green needs to play Jax more. We need the mobility center. I love Larry but he hasn’t been on his A game the last few weeks.

  11. Senor_Pug

Fire Pierre the pelican he is terrible at shooting with the T shirt cannon it is obvious his development has hit his ceiling it’s time to move on.

  12. Same problem every off-season and DG half asses it every single time. Go all out in getting some damn shooters on the team dude. Doing this dumbass no shooters crap 4 seasons in a row is annoying when EVERY other team acknowledges that it’s extremely important in this NBA.

  13. No_Key_7464

we are not going to go far with CJ bricking 70% his shots every other game

  14. zynanawill243

outplayed even with the refs on our side damn

  15. shahsnow

Tough fucking loss, they played like the 3 seed and we played like the 8th. We have to be able to generate something when they keep blitzing BI every time he touches the ball. A game like tonight really shows the Zion sized hole on the team.

  16. Doktor_Nic

Didn’t expect to win. Just annoyed that I knew I was right that we were doomed to a loss as soon as Sacto ended the first on a run.

Why teams wait to double BI, I don’t know. Why we suck so bad at adjusting once they inevitably do that, I don’t know.

  17. Razor-Ramon-Sessions

I am not saying that Jackson and Kira are the answer to these type of losses but honestly I don’t need to see Josh or Naji anymore. I know what they give us.

It’s a shame. It’s clearly too late for Willie to make changes to his lineups but that bench unit sucks.
We have such little shooting as is and he puts BI in with 3 to 4 non-shooters. It’s legit one of the worst coaching moves I’ve seen.

  18. tikicollab

We definitely got out coached, the line ups with CJ and Trey leading the second unit are so underutilized it’s just Trey in the corner getting a few touches while CJ dribbles the life out of the ball and takes contested shots. It should be BI with Trey and CJ with JV running the respective second and third units. The anti spacing defensive line ups for BI is terrible mistake that I hope they never run again. Teams can sellout to double BI every time and no one can knock down a shot. Give BI shooters and let CJ do his thing with defensive line ups and facilitate more for JV.

We need to make meaningful cuts and actually pass from those like the CJ to Trey dunk. We have to much standing around the perimeter for our lack of shooting, it’s just bad spacing. When you start to make a hard cut you force the defense to move or make them pay.

That’s also on the ball handlers to find the cutters bc when they running around not getting touches it doesn’t incentivize them to continue cutting. Especially for Trey way too passive and not cutting enough in the paint or hustling off ball to get open, he missed a few looks and then CJ started dominating the ball and rarely found him on the perimeter when he was open enough.

  19. definitelydidntcheat

So frustrating to see the pels answering SAC’s open 3s with low-percentage 2s all game. Turnovers and offensive rebounds put us in a hole early and we never even attempted to get back into the game with 3s. 20 attempts to their 42 is unacceptable, especially for the shitty shots we were settling for all game

  20. Kevin-Garvey-1

CJ played terribly, BI played poorly by his recent standards, and we gave Josh Richardson 20 minutes.

  21. Gotta say kings played great tonight. Wish we could’ve stepped up too but they were tough competition

  22. Balsamic_ducks

Is anyone else tired of being outscored from 3 every game? There is no world where BI should only be taking 2 3s where he is supposed to be one of our best shooters

  23. ExternalEbb2584

They put the ball in the circle thing more times than us

  24. Steak_personafied

BI is getting double and tripled team every time he passes half court. Trey’s man is not helping off of him. The other guys can’t do SHIT huh?

  25. afriendlyspider

Kings would be a horrible matchup. Yes, the play-in is risky but if you have any dreams at all of a postseason run it starts with Memphis as the 7th seed

  26. smashadamspel

Kings took that time out in 1st it was wrap afterwards! Mike Brown COTY legit

  27. Lyte_Work

Let’s be real, we weren’t going undefeated these last few games after going 7-8. We just need 1 win to get a play-in spot hopefully we get it sooner than later.

  28. KarmaPoIice

Where are the people telling me how CJ is the past year. What a fucking bum
