It really doesn’t matter what advanced stats stay if you are barely keeping your head above .500, the Raptors on the court have not been good enough this year, period.
We can beat a top team one night then drop one to a bottom feeder team the next night.
I love the Raptors, but this season has been a frustrating case study on the race to the middle.
According to this stat Alex Caruso and Austin Reaves have been more impactful than Pascal, lol. Advanced stats with no context are fooling a hell of a lot of people.

This stat claims fred is as impactful as Shai, and more impactful than Giannis.
This is a worthless stat.
RAPTOR = contribution to team per 100 stats compared to average
ELO = essentially how good your wins are. So beating boston gives you a higher elo rating than beating charlotte
They aren’t saying how good our guys are but rather that our bench is terrible. 1) Fred is over contributing to per 100 because he is constantly on the floor due to lack of bench depth, and 2) the full strength elo indicates that when we are not full strength then our team then the replacement players are some of the worst in the NBA. Hence why we are .500.
This all just shows how poorly the team was constructed this year
every advanced stat has fred as a top 30 player in the leauge and this sub calls him a backup pg
