Maybe the game with the most implications in the history of this matchup, but I think the pre-Bubble 19-20 season games were bigger. There was way more hype around both teams as legit contenders, they were actually the top 2 teams in the West, and it was before the Nuggets collapse had made everyone doubt the Clippers.

Usually, the last Clippers-Lakers game of the season a bunch of players sit out. They are resting for the playoffs or one of the team’s season is over. I think this is the first last Clipper-Lakers game of the season that actually means anything.
