Dude knew Giannis was pulling away with it then did everything in his power to try to look impressive, but its just cringe. Best player on best team, Giannis is the MVP.

As a Giannis fan , I can't deny Embiids dominance this regular season. He has done everything for his team and deserves to win this award. The real issue tho , is that Philly would still go home in the second round. They have some choices to make in the offseason regarding his supporting cast . Maxey should take more shots and more opportunities to develop . It's sad having such an elite scorer as Embiid and not utilizing correctly on the offensive end. When was the last time he caught a lob ? Embiid is an insane vertical spacer and if utilized correctly he can make his teammates better , if he's utilized correctly.

I can't stand Embiid as a human being. Whining, constantly tearing other people down, constantly lobbying for himself without a word of praise for others and desperate for trophies. Essentially a complete as-hole that decent people have no respect for at all. But he's been great on court lately. Jokic has just quit and stopped playing recently, I think partly in reaction to how sick this whole MVP and ring culture thing has gotten. Does anybody remember what decency and self respect once looked like?

Embiid definitely looks like the MVP to me but this game just made me more confident that the 76ers will not beat the Celtics in a seven game series
He was just dominated by Giannis. Who lost to Tatum, who lost to OKC minus SGA and Orlando. Their per 36 are in favor of Giannis. But regardless, can we all take a moment to acknowledge these guys are balling out and the Beasts are back in the East?

In my opinion Embiid just pretty much locked MVP down. All though, to be fair, the Celtics were down their rim protector and their 2nd best player. I'm not saying Embiid wasn't absolutely incredible because he totally was but he got everything he wanted in the paint

What an impressive pull up jump shooting performance by Embiid but the only thing to really take away from this game is that the sixers can’t beat the Celtics in a 7 game series
Embiid's dominance showed like it does mostly every night, but Glenn is a basketball terrorist.
Embiid and Giannis are the two best players in the nba. However, Boston and the bucks have the best teams. He had 52 while the rest of his team had 51. The sixers did a terrible job having talent around Embiid for his career

Embiids Mid Range game makes it very tough for teams to double team him because it leaves alot of shooters open
Embiid has to overcome bad coaching, bad teammates and a bad front office.
As a Sixer fan i appreciate your objective view.. Doc Rivers might be the Sixers biggest weakness. He will go with the same bench lineups no matter how they are playing. And like you said its the little chess moves that can decide a series.. And our coach is playing checkers instead of chess!!

The MVP is a democratic process which means that not the best candidate will win. Popularity, timing, campaigning, etc matters. The US wouldn't have the last three presidents if voting wasn't a very flawed process.
