  1. Kings are very legit . Only team I don't see them beating are the warriors. You don't go to a shootout with warriors and win . Kings offense is so good but in playoffs when they play same team multiple times they will figure out things . Warriors are the only team I can't see kings beat .Nobody in the west has beaten warriors since 2014 in the west

  2. After this dominant win against A team that really hasn't been blown out all year by anyone and beat the Kings up pretty bad about 2 weeks ago, yeah I'd sit the starters if there isn't any chance for A 2 seed.

There isn't any definitive correct answer I don't think. I'd lean toward sitting.

Definitely Keegan Murray is the Wild card. All you need from Monk Huerter and Barnes is to do what they've done all year.

You get 18ppg in the playoffs from Keegan you have a realistic shot of making conference finals. He's peaking at the absolute right time too.

I don't think there is a real scary team in the west this year. They would just to have to mentally be able to knock off these legends that are on almost every team like LeBron, Durant, Chris Paul, Steph, Klay. Kawhi etc et.

It'll be mental at this point. They have the team to win. They just have to be ready to slay these hall of fame legends/Dragons. They seem ready and they play better to their level of competition especially in the west coast.

No matter what it'll be a tough playoff series for whatever teams they end up playing

  3. I am not sure honestly about the most important to success.

Because the reality is…Barnes, Huerter, Murray, Monk, Mitchell and Lyles…especially…it will be on all of them.

Barnes is the one who has Championship experience. So he knows the most about playoff pressure, adversity and overcoming it and has the veteran presence.

Murray – His 3 point shooting and calm demeanor seem to help the Kings stay focused on the task at hand. Like…he really is reminding me more and more of Tim Duncan when it comes to his attitude and approach to the game.

Huerter – His playoff experience being invaluable and his perimeter shooting and ability to frustrate defenses because of his off ball movement.

Monk…a serious contender for 6th man of the year. Mr. Energy and the guy who can score at will.

Mitchell, because of his defense and energy in the second unit is very needed and he can go off sometimes on the offensive side as well.

Lyles – his overall play has just as much as possible been a stability effect for that 2nd unit. He has been constantly just good all year long.

So all of them have an argument.

Now are some probably more important than others if one ranks them? Sure.

But it is hard to rank them and it will take all of them to do it.

Though I wouldn't be shocked if Kessler Edwards shot up on this list at all. He has been a very good and underrated pick up for this team.

Obviously this team goes as far as Fox and Sabonis carry them. But…the efforts of these guys…and even to a smaller extent to Len, Metu and Delly when he is back hopefully….will hopefully carry this team to a deep playoff run.

I hope at a very least the Kings make the second round.

But…I really hope it will be Kings vs Nuggets in the WCF. Because that match up is a very must see series.

In part because both franchises have a history of knowing how low it can get in the NBA with bad teams. So to see them in that position…would be special.

The Kings are good enough to make it. Will they? I have no idea. It will depend on how much they can get timely defense and how consistent that offense is. Without a doubt, they are an elite offense. But, we have seen them have a few games where they played flat offensively. Where The motor never got to full speed and they can't afford a game like that if they want to get deep into the playoffs.

I know every team wants to raise a banner as champions at the end of the year. Cut the Nets down, hoist a trophy and come back from it the off season and get rings and raise a banner. I don't doubt that the Kings want this as well.

I don't know if they can get that far. Especially with how good the Celtics, Bucks and 76ers are, and how dangerous the Cavs are as well or even the way the Knicks play and how they are a similar team to the Kings.

Now, I don't think the Knicks or Cavs make it out of the East, but it isn't impossible either.

And for the record…the Kings have nobody to fear.

Now are there teams like the Suns and Nuggets who would be mighty challenges?? Absolutely. Even the Grizzlies and Warriors. None of them can be taken lightly. One can't count the Lakers out after their trades made them better and the Clippers…if they can stay healthy…are always dangerous.

But I do believe the Kings are up for any and all challenges. How far they get is up to them.

  4. I'm so proud of how this team continues to bounce back after adversity. I'm in on Len, he has done a really good job out there the last few games. I think that was a rock solid argument for Keegan being the most important 3rd wheel in the playoffs for the Kings considering the potential 2 way impact. One of my favorite things about the rook is that he makes those heady intangibles type plays in winning time whether its drawing a charge, getting a deflection, or an off reb. But my pick is Monk b/c if we can get him playing at a high level then Fox and Sabonis get a huge boost. Kerr talks about how Steph and Dray share the same brain out there on the court and I feel that way about Fox and Monk. When you add the Monk Sabonis pick n roll to that I think we are completely unstoppable if Monk is cookin. The only thing that bothers me at times with Monk in a closing lineup is that Fox trust him a little too much at times and I'm always more comfortable with full agression attacking Fox in the 4th.

  5. PACIFIC DIVISION CHAMPS !!!
I really think Barnes is the X factor he has been through this with a winning organization and he has shown more emotion this year than ever in his career
I'd love to see him holding players accountable and pulling some of our younger guys aside who might need some guidance

  6. 1) Monk, not just his scoring, but his shot selection has to get better when he has the hot hand. He's such a good playmaker and he needs to understand how defenses are collapsing on him.

    2) Davion, he has to have more confidence just shooting the mid range. He's passing too much when he's open in the mid range, and he's chucking from the 3 point line. It just seems beyond his range.

    3) Heurter, has to stop being a help defender on D. Too many times opponents target him for a 2 man game, where they bait him into leaving his guy on the perimeter.

    4) Keegan has to be more physical on the box out. He doesn't need to get the board, but he has to keep his guy flying by to grab a board over guys like Len and Lyles.

  7. Again So good to say the Kings didn’t relocate to Seattle or Anaheim

Also, everyone is saying they’re going to get swept in the first round playoffs 😡😡

  8. Could yall imagine jaylen brown on the squad 🤔 screams finals appearance to me ‼️
And my answer to your most important king besides fox and sabonis i would agree wit monk. Notice when he doesn't play the bench is all of a sudden real lethargic. Also his emotion is an undervalued aspect of this squad

  9. My pick is Richawn Holmes. Every year in the playoffs, someone gets injured. If Domantas gets injured and Richawn Holmes is an absolutely completely useless basketball player, I'll be disappointed. The theme of the entire year is to always be ready. Is Richawn Holmes ready or is he just going to be a big fat ugly version of Ben Simmons and Andrew Wiggins. I'm expecting Richawn Holmes to remind the world who the F he is . . . Should the need arise. 🐐

  10. So, if I'm an opposing coach in the playoffs, I'm targeting Keegan not just because of his defense and he's a rookie, I want to get him in foul trouble. And then I will do the same to sabonis. I'll send guys downhill all day long at domantas, because if our guards aren't going to stop them, then he has to, and he'll get an early foul trouble

  11. Kessler really turned that game around imo. We had no answer for Ingram. He came in and locked him down in the second.

  12. Brown should have played Alex Len all season instead of Metu . We could have been be 1st in the standings. Metu can't guard a high school player 😂.
