I admit I am bringing this up purely for perfecting a karmic irony, but given that Kyrie trade was billed largely as “a way to keep Doncic happy” and given that that’s not working, the idea of Doncic requesting a trade seems, well, not too to hard to imagine. (Especially if Kyrie walks in free agency instead of re-signing with the Mavs leaving them even worse off than before the trade…)
So, a question: Could Doncic finally fill the “big” role that has been a glaring hole on the Nets roster since, well, Brook Lopez?

If he is available unfortunately I think the Knicks have a better package. More picks plus grimes, Quickey, RJ
If Luka was a free agent in the next 2 years, I’d put us as the betting favorites as his next destination. It’s a team built really well for someone like Luka to plug into.
Given Luka’s contract, we have absolutely no chance at landing him in a trade (if the Mavs ever even did decide to move him). 10 teams could probably beat any package we craft.
